Introduction

The sharing of information is a very vital aspect of a modern business enterprise. It enables the company to come up with effective strategies to tackle the problems that it may be facing. Generally, the sharing of information mainly involved the physical meeting of the people involved; this company has facilitated such meetings to great success. However, the sharing of information can also be done through virtual teams, which is in line with the company’s policy of facilitation of sharing of information and teamwork development. Because virtual teams require different types of equipment to enable communication between the members (Gibson and Cohen, 2003, p 4), the company will ensure that it provides all the required communication equipment.

Virtual team members play a very important role in the development of certain information that is important to the company. They help in the sharing of information, which is of ultimate help to the company. The success of the virtual team is mainly determined by the individual capabilities of the members because virtual teams usually have specific difficulties that are mainly brought about by the differences in the geographical location of the members and the lack of physical presence of the members. To help in solving the problems that may arise in the virtual teams, setting up ground rules is usually very important.

The company, therefore, intends to issue a detailed job description of the individual members of the virtual team, and in effect, help in tackling some of the problems that may arise in the virtual team. The main job of the virtual team is to identify issues concerning a new mobile phone developed by the company.
