This is the prompt for the assignment and the associated questions for each sect

This is the prompt for the assignment and the associated questions for each section.
For this assignment, you will select one of the articles listed below. Find and thoroughly read the peer-reviewed article using PsychINFO, Web of Science, or Google Scholar, and write a short essay summarizing and critiquing the study.
Botto, S. V., & Rochat, P. (2018). Sensitivity to the Evaluation of Others Emerges by 24 Months. Developmental Psychology, 54(9), 1723–1734. https://doi.org/10.1037/dev0000548

This assignment provides an opportunity to practice finding, reading, and writing about developmental science. Please be cognizant that reading scientific studies is about deep understanding. This means you may have to avoid any inclinations you have toward reading for speed (slow and steady wins the race here).
Your essay will be divided into two sections (i.e., the summary section and the reaction section).
Article Summary Section (approximately 1-2 paragraphs)
The Article Summary section (1-2 paragraphs) should reflect not the facts of the article but a deeper understanding of the contribution being made. The goal of this section is to effectively communicate the most important ideas from each article. In the article summary, answer the following questions:
What are the researchers trying to understand about infant development? (What aspect of development are they trying to understand more deeply? What is their primary research question?)
What can we learn from the research presented? (What argument are they making for why this research is important and relevant for understanding development?)
What did the researchers do to conduct the study? This is about the sample and methods – Who did they study? What variables did they study? How did they observe/collect data on those variables (were they measured or manipulated)?
What are the main findings presented in this research? (What key evidence is provided to support their conclusion? What is the answer to their primary research question?)
What remains unknown about this topic? (Are there still things we don’t understand about this problem/topic? What areas would be useful for future research to investigate to further understand this problem/phenomenon?)
The Article Reaction Section (1-2 paragraphs)
The Article Reaction section (1-2 paragraphs) will connect to course content and discuss the implications of the findings you summarized in Part I. This section is NOT another summarization. This intellectual exercise may take the form of an agreement, disagreement, elaboration, contrast, parallel, or critical analysis of the article you selected. This section should address the following prompts:
Connect findings from this study to what you’ve learned:
Identify and discuss 2-3 connections you’ve made between this study and what you’ve learned in this course so far. (How does this study connect to material you’ve read in the chapter, watched in the lectures, or learned through other course materials? For example, how does it connect to theories you’ve learned about? Or, how does it connect to other studies you’ve learned about?
Discuss the implications of this research:
Who might find this information useful (e.g., parents, teachers, policymakers)?
Can you think of how this research might be useful or relevant for you in your personal or professional life? (For example, if you plan to work in a medical field, is this useful knowledge that you might be able to apply? Or, if you plan to be a parent, is this information important to know?)
What recommendations might you make for practice and policy based on this information?
Is there more information that would be important to know before practice or policy recommendations could be made?
Do you think these findings generalize to people of varying social and cultural backgrounds or social identities? Why or why not?
What questions do you still have about development in this area after reading this paper?
Your submission must be:
A .doc or .docx file (You will receive a 0 if you submit any other file type)
1 to 3 single-spaced pages – No less than 1 page, no more than 3 pages single-spaced)
Times New Roman 12-point font
1-inch margins
Include the assignment title in the upper left-hand margin and your last name and the page number in the upper right-hand margin. (Make sure your margins are formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, and that your paper is single-spaced.)
Note: Assignment title, name, and section headings do not count toward the total length of your assignment.
An APA formatted citation of the article you read
You are expected to follow APA style (7th Edition) for these assignments and to properly cite all articles in your writing. The Purdue University Online Writing Lab maintains a great resource for APA style (link below). There are many useful APA reference generators on the internet. However, these generators sometimes make mistakes so be sure to double check before submitting!

NOTE: APA style requires papers to be double-spaced. This is the only APA convention you will not be following since your paper will be single-spaced.
