Both resources are available to you online. Go to the link at https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/ and click on Texas Statutes to expand the listings of the statutes, which includes the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and the Texas Penal Code. From there you can click on either code to expand the listings and begin your research.
Specific Instructions: These questions will require critical thinking. All of the clues are in the questions so please read them carefully. Some questions may require you to refer to information covered in this week and subsequent weeks. Some questions may require both an answer and a citation to the statute. For example, if the question asks: “Is a firearm a deadly weapon under the Texas Penal Code?
