Thailand Fair Education Foundation (EEF) was created by the Fair Education Act of 2018. The purpose of this law is to provide financial support for children and youth who are most in need of education, to partner with different groups, and to reduce inequality in education by systematically implementing research to support and improve the effectiveness of teachers. The Board consists of representatives from 5 ministries (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health) and six independent directors from different fields (academia, private sector, and civil society), experts.
The EEF works with children, especially young children, to develop their physical, mental, discipline, emotional, and social skills, whether in the public, private, or civil society. EEF helps, promotes, develops, and supports children through funding to help children from disadvantaged and low-income families get a basic education (Equitable Education Fund (EEF) 2022). EEF allows economically disadvantaged and low-income people to receive training to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need for employment according to their capabilities and abilities.
The EEF improves and develops the quality and effectiveness of teachers so that they have the educational competencies to work with children and young people of diverse backgrounds and abilities. EEF also surveys, researches, and analyzes how to improve teachers’ qualifications and enthusiasm to make sure that teachers are passionate about their profession, morals, ethics, knowledge, and ability to teach and develop students. Don’t let equity decline. In addition, EEF encourages and supports the creation of prototyping institutes for student learning and development.
Target groups include poor and working populations seeking recovery opportunities after COVID-19.

- Have education below the required level.
- Monthly income over 6,500 baht.
The Equitable Education Foundation accepts program proposals from private and public schools, communities, foundations, public service organizations, and community organizations with expertise in their fields to create innovation and community-based career skills.
The program will create career opportunities for the target audience by providing them with local budget resources. The work will focus on developing specific skills that meet community needs. Specialists and specific criteria will be involved to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Implementing this project is a priority because the following changes are taking place:
- Promotion of personal confidence of each participant in project-based learning, self-fulfillment, and reflection.
- Development of students’ awareness of the importance of teamwork for the result, the role of cooperation, and joint activities in the process of creative assignments.
- Development of research skills.
Ready research materials developed under the guidance of a concerned teacher allow one to form a conscious, in-depth knowledge on a particular topic of the discipline. Besides, it clearly demonstrates to students the practical relevance of their knowledge and skills acquired in other academic disciplines (Community-Based Innovation and Career Development Scholarships, 2022). The teacher himself receives a valuable, unique educational product ready to be used in further work. This project meets all the necessary requirements for the activity:
- Presence of a significant research problem requiring integrative knowledge, research search for its solution (for example, research on totalitarian political regimes in different countries of the world);
- Practical, theoretical, cognitive significance of the expected results (analysis of totalitarianism development on the example of European states for more objective comprehension of peculiarities of the Soviet totalitarian system);
- Independent (individual, paired, group) activity of students;
- The use of research methods.
