The Internet has strongly entered human life. People cannot imagine their life without Internet and try to involve this convenient innovation into each part of their life. Several years ago people used telephones and letters for communication. Nowadays people prefer to use Skype and e-mails for information sharing.

Considering e-mails as one of the main means for delivering information, it should be stated that this way of communication has different kinds of expression, it is used in various spheres of human life and for various purposes and has different effectiveness.

E-mail Correspondence as the Way of Communication

Being an important means of communication in the modern life, e-mails are used for communication even more frequently than personal communications. About ten years ago e-mails were used just for delivering important information, sharing of scanned documents, etc. The use of e-mails was spread in business sphere only. Nowadays, people use e-mails in different spheres of life as a way for communication for many different reasons.

First of all, e-mail does not require from people personal communication that makes them relaxed. Second, such way of communication allows a person more time on searching some information necessary for replying or reacting on a message. Third, the respondents are not tied by the business hours, this is important. Using e-mails for communication, people may reply any time they want.

It is really convenient for time-zones. Finally, e-mail communication does not interrupt people from ordinary business. E-mails are used for getting acquainted with people from other countries and making friends with them for sharing information, experience and cultural differences. Advertising is another means for using e-mails.

Leaving e-mails in some database, people are sure to get the information about sales, new items, and other specific information from different companies. Being titles a mass e-mailing, this means of communication is used by big corporation not only to inform people about some novelties, but also to invite them to various meetings, notify about notable events, etc. Such measure of advertising is effective for companies and convenient for people (Shulman 23).

First of all, speaking bout language in business communication, people should remember that the letter should be error free, formal, without any extra information which does not have any relation to the theme of communication. Writing error free e-mails depends directly on personal awareness of grammar and desire to follow rules. There is a tendency in youth communication to use mistakes intentionally to stress one of the words. Advertising e-mails and replies to them are to be free from mistakes like business communication. The format of e-mails in business communication should be properly structured.
