In this paper, the authors have demonstrated the basic aspects of leadership. Besides, the article also analyzed the role of leadership in the medical field, namely at the training stage. The purpose of the work was to analyze the existing strategies for educating medicine and to evaluate the methods of teaching leadership. For this, methods such as applying a validated instrument used for medical education and MERSQI to the included studies were used (Geerts et al., 2020). As a result, the authors were able to establish that the creation of a leadership program should be based on improving knowledge, motivation, behavior, and skills. Moreover, leadership development has been found to improve outcomes for patients.

In this paper, the authors demonstrated the theoretical aspects of leadership. The purpose of the article was to analyze the role of leadership in problem-solving and the different types of leadership. For this, the method of an analytical review of the work of companies was used (Roupnel et al., 2019). As a result, the authors were able to establish that leadership plays a vital role in the development and operation of organizations. In addition, coaching, mentoring, and action learning were found to be the three most effective leadership programs.

The purpose of this work was to demonstrate the role of leadership in the organization’s development in the example of Scandinavian companies. For this, the method of evaluating empirical experiences in the development of leadership programs was used (Stage & Meier, 2022). As a result, it was found that there are gaps in the understanding of many basic aspects of this issue and how to fill them.

In this paper, the purpose of the authors was to analyze the role of leadership in terms of startups. The authors tried to predict which leadership development techniques will be of most use for startups within the next decade. For this, the method of a two-stage study of expert opinion on the topic was used (Prommer et al., 2020). As a result, it was found that startups use various leadership programs to work more efficiently.

Leadership is an integral part of the company’s work, management bodies, human resource management departments, and individual managers. It is formulated by the fact that leadership includes a methodology for effective work and problem-solving. In addition, it is an integral aspect of the decision-making process at all levels of the organization. It contributes to the development of effective workflow management and building relationships with employees, superiors, and subordinates. Thus, for building an efficient and appropriate work style, one needs to be aware of the role of leadership, its types, and its characteristics.

The conducted research on the topic of leadership contributed to the achievement of certain results in understanding the role, foundations, and basic concepts of the current issue. It is worth mentioning that leadership is an essential factor not only when the company is at the stage of activity but also the stage of establishment. More specifically, it has been found that to launch and promote a startup effectively, one needs to be aware of the different leadership styles used (Prommer et al., 2020). Moreover, it should include not only theoretical information but also practical data. That is, launching a startup should include the ability to apply the information received regarding leadership in practice. One must understand not only different styles but also be able to apply certain types depending on the situation and environment.

Further, on the example of the analysis of the use of leadership in the medical field, it was found that it is important in the work of healthcare. Namely, the leadership contributes to the improvement of outcomes for patients since the basic workflow principles are also developed. It includes all stages of the provision of medical services, which are provided to patients. More precisely, leadership has a positive effect on diagnosis, treatment, care, and interaction with customers (Geerts et al., 2020). Primarily, it is because leadership contributes to the improvement in the work of superiors and subordinates. One means that relationships between employees are more productive, and therefore the quality of work is also improved.

Finally, it was found that knowing not only the basic aspects of leadership but also some practical factors is necessary. For example, how one uses various types of leadership to improve the activity of staff and the organization. It includes coaching, mentoring, and action learning, all of which have their characteristics (Roupnel et al., 2019). Thus, coaching is a method of training in which the coach, the person who teaches, helps another individual achieve some life goals. However, it is worth remembering that coaching differs from mentoring by focusing on achieving specific goals. At the same time, mentoring involves more extensive learning, thereby contributing to overall development. As one may notice, coaching will be more effective in staff training settings as it will focus on specific skills.
