Introduction

There are numerous public and private access points to healthcare in the United States, which is decentralized. The public health system comprises government agencies and joint initiatives with regional non-profit organizations and religious institutions. However, connections between individuals and their environment are the focus of public health for promoting health and creating safe, healthy communities.

Discussion

Sustainability is essential for making healthcare systems future-oriented, given the significant problems they currently face. The sustainable system includes three balanced economic, social, and ecological components in a comprehensive approach characterized by a long-term focus. Ensuring high-quality medical treatment following patients’ needs and ecological issues, such as UV and chemical exposures, global warming, and atmosphere, groundwater, and soil pollution depends on this area of healthcare (Grand Canyon University, 2018).

The next logical is to develop reform and evidence linking particular variables to sustainability outcomes to guide the creation of sustainability strategies for the healthcare system. Similar to other implementation study topics, this project has methodological difficulties, which depend on the accurate and trustworthy evaluation of sustainability indicators, effects, and sustainment methods (Shelton, Cooper, & Stirman, 2018). A few sustainability-specific assessments and tools intended to assess an organization’s proficiency in critical areas like partnerships and strategic planning that have been demonstrated to be associated with sustainability success are showing signs of increasing validity and reliability.

The reform in the sustainability sphere affects not only the environmental impact on health but also social perception and experience. All aspects can improve the overall experience of diverse social categories to achieve quality healthcare services. The stakeholders in such cases can be various public organizations centered around social sustainability, for instance, affordability. Or regarding green growth, innovations, and climate change influence management, the governing boards must develop new approaches to moderate the most efficient programs for the United States health system.

Conclusion

Thus, it is indicated that to attain sustainable healthcare, social and environmental sustainability are linked to economic sustainability practices. Following the environmentally responsible health system framework, waste management, circular business models, integrated medical institution development, sustainable procurement, and green growth must be used to promote green healthcare initiatives.
