A problem he faced and overcame: When he was appointed as a general manager for a company, he noticed that two major projects were causing significant losses. He identified the problem in those projects and halted them, resulting in a 40 million SAR profit increase for the company.
His decision-making approach relies on data rather than opinions. He is firm in his decisions but ensures it doesn’t negatively affect the company’s performance.
Two decisions he made: When one of the companies incurred a 70 million SAR loss, he decided to replace the general manager, which improved the company’s performance. In another example, when all finance department employees collectively resigned to demand a salary increase, he accepted their resignations to prevent the spread of discontent to other departments, and later they apologised and requested forgiveness, which he eventually granted with the endorsement of the Board Chairman.
The marketing manager of a company was his friend, but when he realized that the manager was harming the company, he instructed him to resign.
