Goal: The goal of this assignment is to have you assess how well you have been able to apply course concepts to your own nursing practice to improve your cultural competency. Instructions: In the previous modules, you have learned about different types of kinship systems and family patterns, care with different populations, as well as beliefs and rituals for death and dying. Using correct APA Style, write a three-page (typed, double-spaced) essay describing how you have been able to apply what you’ve learned in this class to your nursing practice. Give specific examples of the concepts you’ve been able to apply and how you have applied them. You must include citations and a minimum of three references in APA format. Must be scholarly references within the past five years, unless citing seminal work. Note: the paper is worth 100 points and is due on Sunday by 11:59 pm at the end of module 4!
