She has not taken part in competitive sport prior to this, although she has enjoyed taking part in the exercise aspects of the school curriculum since starting primary school.

Prior to becoming pregnant, Emma played local competition netball on the weekend (including one training session per week), walked her dog for 30 minutes most days, and went to a yoga class once 5 a week. Since becoming pregnant, Emma has not felt like exercising due to morning sickness. The nausea has now ceased, and she is hoping to return to her previously active lifestyle.
