Begin by reading the following articles:

Then, begin designing your Self-Care Plan. Consider each section below and create a self-care plan based on the topics listed.
Describe what self-care is and the importance of self-care according to the articles above. Be sure to use text-based evidence and properly cite said evidence. Use direct quotes only when necessary. Paraphrase at other times but be sure to still cite your work. After reading the material above, while doing some of your own research, you should be able to describe what self-care is and its importance in a paragraph or two almost completely in your own words.
Background information – Why do you personally need a Self-Care Plan?
Purpose – How will this Self-Care Plan be used by you? Will it be a plan for your professional life? Is it adaptable to your personal life? How will you measure its success in your life?
Self-Care Plan – Design your Self-Care Plan by outlining the elements of your self-care plan for use in both everyday use and during stressful times. How will you ensure that you follow through with your self-care? How will you know when you need more self-care than during your normal routines?
Reflections – How will you plan continuous measurements of success of this Self-Care Plan? What areas do you feel will be most likely to need adjustment? How will you know these areas need adjustment? How will you plan for the unexpected and maintain your Self-Care Plan?
Your Self-Care Plan should include all five sections listed above.
Your Self-Care Plan should be formatted in APA style, and include all references listed above as well as any outside references you chose to use. These outside references also need to be formatted in APA style. Use the CARS checklist to make sure that any additional sources you use are Credible, Accurate, Reasonable, and Supported.
