Transport economics is a branch of Economics that deals with resources distribution within a dynamic transport industry. This economic segment is often linked to some concepts of civil engineering. Most of the economic theories also apply in transport economics. But it assumes a different point of view wherein the economy is considered as indirect. There are several aspects that operate within transport economics. These include government policies and the economic forces within an economy.
