“Who Moved My Cheese” is the story written by Spenser Johnson at the end of the 20th century. It reveals the situation when four mice face the disappearance of the cheese they are used to and need to move forward looking for another source of food (Johnson 25). Personally, I would like to see myself in a role of Sniff or Scurry who turned out to adapt easily to such change. Still, I should confess that Haw relates to me better because I usually need more time to come to terms with the situation that I do not like and to make a step into a new life.

I believe that with this fable, the author wanted to show that people should not be afraid of changes because some of them tend to have a positive influence on their future. In addition to that, he provided the readers with the opportunity to see how different individuals react to changes and what happens to them with the course of time. This example ensures that people will find a character that relates to them the most and see how they can act to improve the situation.

This book relates to my life greatly because it can be applied to describe my reaction to the changes I face in everyday life. For example, it can be used to show my behavior when I finished school and entered college. It was difficult for me to accept this alteration and realize that I will not return to school and my daily routine will not be the same. Still, now I am happy and have no regrets.

I really enjoyed this book as I read it because of the way it is written. When serious topics are discussed in a jocose way, they are easier to understand and entail more positive emotions.
