Of course, Chapter 250 of the discussed code provides a large list of offenses related to violent behaviors that completely bar anyone from working in nursing home settings (THSC, 2017). At the same time, personal relationships with employees/job applicants or severe personnel gaps may sometimes affect facility managers’ decision-making. Poor employee choices can also stem from conflicts between facilities’ financial interests and ethical obligations (Harney & Kennon, 2018).
