While the areas of income based on traditional aerial activities are fixed for all of the airports around the world, the employment of non-aeronautical sources of revenue allows the authorities of the airports to demonstrate creativity concerning fields of investment. Therefore, airports become highly profitable facilities with the reduced dependence on aerial revenues and lower risk of bankruptcy.
