of your assigned Focus Country. You must:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of global business concepts and cultural diversity in a
business context;
2. Identify some key components of business the environments that differ across
countries;
3. Evaluate how these differences present challenges and opportunities for a business
organization.

* Do a google search “What is the business environment of XXXX – your
country?”. Choose 1 or 2 aspects of the business environment – you can describe
the business environment in terms of per capita income, business climate, risk,
cultural aspects.

* Is the currency free floating or fixed? How is the exchange rate
set/determined?

Describe different modes of entry into your county. Which might be
better?
* There is no one right answer for this type of question. It always depends. Use a
specific example if that helps you think about the question. For example, what is
the best mode of entry for a Georgia company to sell pecans in China? Consider
exporting because Georgia has a competitive advantage in growing pecans and
they are less expensive to grow in Georgia. As a long term strategy pecan
farmers might want to try and grow pecans in China where labor costs are very
low. However, there are restrictive land ownership laws so this might be a
detractor.
