Introduction

In Christianity, the doctrine of original sin implies that humans have become inherently tainted after the Fall of man, also known as Adam and Eves disobedience to God. This narrative transparently separates people from before and after the Fall to show the unavoidable degradation of humans and their morals. In this context, people before the Fall of man had a wide range of notable virtues or holy states of man. Ultimately, the current essay compares the states of man to demonstrate how the original sin has affected humans.

Discussion

Adam and Eve were the first two humans, and, according to the doctrine of original sin, they were significantly different from people after the Fall. In the most basic definition, they were holy because God created humans in accordance with his own being (Marbaniang). Hence, the two primary states of man in Adam and Eve were according to God and useful for God (Marbaniang). This type of holiness implied the innocence of Adam and Eva, but it also meant complete obedience to God.

On the other hand, the original sin and consequent expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden was an example of disobedience. After the Fall of man, all people were born inherently tainted and sinful they were selfish, greedy, and, most importantly, rejected by God. They became independent of Gods wishes and only acted in their own interests instead of respecting Gods will. Hence, the states of man changed drastically from innocent obedience to autonomy associated with numerous sins.

Conclusion

The doctrine of original sin is one of the most well-known narratives in Christianity, implying the downfall of human morals and standards. Before the Fall of man, Adam and Eve acted according to Gods will and demonstrated the highest levels of obedience until Satans influence made them doubt God. However, after the Fall, people inherited the tainted nature of corrupted disobedience, becoming selfish and independent. This drastic change in the states of man derived directly from disobedience, resulting in moral downfall.
