Marketing is significant among organizations since it provides a media through which the public and target audience become aware of corporate activities. Although social media is the most common marketing platform, print media play a significant role in making the public aware of its various products and activities. Brochures are informative paper documents that can be folded into pamphlets, templates, or leaflets (Wierenga, 2020). Like magazines, brochures have pictures of the products or services that a particular company provides. While developing the brochures, I will adopt Saint Leo’s core value of excellence since I would want the best out of the marketing activity (Saint Leo University, n.d.). Therefore, marketing brochures are used by organizations to describe products or services to a particular targeted audience.
Brochures can be used to promote awareness of a non-profit agency in various ways. The organization provides its strategic positioning by mentioning its vision and mission on the brochures. Consequently, the audience can relate the products or services under advertisement to the organization’s objectives. Additionally, the brochures can help communicate the agency’s success, boosting public trust and desire to take part in its activities. For instance, communicating the agency’s past projects and their consequent success will help the community develop a positive attitude toward them. I can use brochures to promote a non-profit agency’s awareness by communicating its success and strategic position.
Various features about the agency will be key when developing brochures. First, I will feature the agency’s location and contact information. Therefore, the targeted audience will have an easy time accessing the organization. Second, I will feature the agency’s foundation history to motivate the audience to join us. Third, I will include the agency’s vision and mission statements to allow the audience to understand our motivation. The statements are crucial in clarifying organizations’ purpose and strategic directions (Akter, 2020). Last, utilizing the agency’s theme color will give the audience a feel for the brand by evoking emotions and symbolic associations.
