Introduction

I am sure that the modern world belongs to corporations. Possessing an enormous amount of money and providing workplaces for millions of people globally, they become the main actors impacting the development of the modern world and the emergence of diverse trends. At the same time, their activity affects the environment significantly and might result in serious consequences that will alter our lives (Popper 98). That is why I am sure that our corporation should be ready to engage in the activity aimed at the protection of the environment and advocate for global solutions to climate change. There are several factors proving the given statement and showing numerous benefits we can acquire if participating in this sort of action.

Main body

First of all, climate activists and environmental companies consider the activity of global corporations one of the central causes for the gradual deterioration of climate and appearance of different kinds of pollutants (Bijlmakers 23). In general, they are right as multiple facilities might cause substantial damage to different regions because of their activity. Under these conditions, sustainability and the environmentally friendly character of all actions become central aspects of the functioning of diverse corporations for them to preserve their image and remain popular with the target audience (Wright and Nyberg 56). For this reason, I am sure that our organization’s participation in the global processes aimed at the improvement of the environmental situation will help it to attain higher levels of popularity which is critical for the future evolution of the company.

Second, I am sure that corporations should advocate for global solutions to climate change because of their outstanding ability to impact the evolution of society and influence decision-making. The fact is that the majority of plans aimed at the improvement of the situation presuppose the introduction of serious limitations to the functioning of companies to reduce the amount of waste and pollutants that appear in the course of diverse facilities work (Klein 34). Very often these limits might be too strict or even unwise and result in the collapse or serious reduction in revenues. For this reason, by participating in the process and advocating for global solutions to climate change, we will be able to monitor all approaches proposed by environmental agencies and participate in discussions to elaborate the most efficient and compromise approach.

Finally, regarding the scale of the problem, and its global character, it is critical to gather social medias support to coordinate actions and attain improved levels of cooperation. For this reason, a special media platform facilitating communication should be created. It should guarantee access to the discussed issue for all participants regardless of the application they use (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Using social media, we will be able to guarantee an improved coverage of all actions, acquire new followers, and share their perspectives regarding the further development of specific solutions (Orr 67). Additionally, it will help to popularize companies participating in multiple environmental programs.

Conclusion

In such a way, I am sure that all corporations functioning at the international level should advocate for global solutions to climate change as it directly impacts their functioning. It is critical to use all resources available for these companies to attain improvement and guarantee the elaboration of efficient and feasible solutions. At the same time, it will also help to improve these companies images, which is critical for their functioning and further evolution.
