original post:Post a full Rough Draft of your essay as an attachment.Include a brief note for your instructor and fellow students that explains, in detail, at least three specific worries/concerns you have about your paper. Be sure to post by the deadline listed on the syllabus/schedule. The day this thread closes/locks is the day the peer review is due, which is not the same as when your own draft is due; your own rough draft is always due days earlier to ensure enough drafts are posted for peers to review.
Below you will unploud the entire unit so you can see the examples that will help you make the essays

Read The Role of Liberal Arts in a College Education [PDF]. One of the goals of Foundations of Adult Learning is to enable you to explore the ways college studies can assist you in becoming an educated person in today’s society. What role does the liberal arts education play in our culture today?
Now, re-read the article by Henry Rosovsky entitled “The Purpose of a Liberal Education” on page 56 of the excerpt.
Review the Writing Assignment Rubric [PDF] that will be used to evaluate your essay. Note: This is not a personal opinion essay. No “I think,” “I feel,” type statements. Discuss and interpret Rosovsky’s points.
Write a short 500 word (minimum) essay using Microsoft Word with 1″ margins, Times New Roman, 12-point font, indented paragraphs and double-spaced. Be sure you title your essay and that your name is on it. It should begin with your academic critique of Rosovsky’s article. Discuss each of Rosovsky’s standards and explain how they exemplify a formally educated person. To conclude, you must discuss specifically how you can apply Rosovsky’s ideas to your own educational goals and the LifeTrack program curriculum. In thinking about your goals and curriculum, you may incorporate the ideas from other articles read during this course in addition to Rosovsky.

As one of your reading assignments in this module, you were required to locate board policies from two districts from two different states that address the following: the accounting code structure the district uses; waste, fraud, and abuse; and, auditing procedures. In this discussion forum, you will share your findings by responding to the prompt listed under the instructions below.
Instructions:
Clearly and succinctly discuss the similarities and differences between the two district’s policies that address the following areas:the accounting procedure the district uses
waste, fraud, and abuse
auditing procedures
The two policies you discuss must be from different districts from different states. Each candidate can select the two states he/she chooses to use. Yes, this means you will have to research.
Follow APA for citation of the district’s policies.
The policies should not be copied and pasted in the forum. Your post should consist of clear, succinct discussion addressing the assigned topic. See the first bullet for what is required in your discussion.
Respond to two of your peers’ initial posts.
Note 1: Follow the discussion forum rubric to develop your initial post and subsequent two peer responses. These discussion questions can be answered if you completed the required research assigned in the module. Refer to the Module Lecture Page for details for the hint that was provided to you on how to search for the policy.
Note 2: If you cannot find the policy in the district in which you chose, then you should select a different district.

Your final paper should focus on one project that you have been engaged in as part of your internship. I provided you my two reflections and see what information you can gather for the paperY. our paper (8-9 pages) should include:
– a lit search ( 6 academic journal articles) on your topic
– a description of the project that you worked on including a description of the organization and how this project will impact the organization
– what you learned from your internship ( integrate learning from other courses)

(1) Indigeneity as “rootedness in place” relates to our relationship between faith, spirituality, justice, and locations (home, abroad, the nation, land, ancestral territory, displacement, built spaces, migration). Consider at these concepts here and react to one or more in one or two paragraphs.
You must connect to the readings here (King and Van Camp) and any others that are relevant from the semester in your opinion. You must first connect to something from King’s “Borders” or Van Camp’s “NDNs” and give a specific example or quotation that you analyze (this should give or explain the connection). You can also connect discussion to these themes and expand to concepts of community identity.
2) React to one student with an expanded view in a short paragraph using another example from the chosen reading

Viktor Frankl (1905–1995) once said: “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing; the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” Dr. Viktor Frankl was a Jewish Austrian neurologist and psychologist who survived the concentration camps during World War II. Frankl had his opinion on human freedom. Respond to the following questions:
Explain whether you agree with Frankl’s opinion that it is important for a person to have the freedom to choose one’s attitude in a given set of circumstances and to choose one’s own way.
Describe a personal example in a business setting that supports your explanation. For instance, you might want to discuss how people deal with edicts from “on high” in a given organization vs. situations where employees have a voice in the decision making process.
To what extent you believe that freedom or the right to choose is important from an ethical perspective and how does this choice impact business success?
How might one’s culture influence his/her attitude toward a decision?

This assessment requires that you observe the physical, cognitive, language, soc

This assessment requires that you observe the physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional areas of development of a preschool-age child. The goal of your Assessment is determine competencies in connecting theory to children’s unique growth patterns, understanding of how external and individual characteristics influence growth and development, identification of the interrelationship between domains, and your ability to understand unique patterns of development and supportive practices,
Your assessment requires that you conduct 10 hours of observations at a licensed early childhood program.
Part 1: Observation Pre-Reflection
To provide context prior to your visit, reflect on the following:
Is the facility private for-profit, non-profit, or school-based?
Is the facility a national or regional center chain? Is it affiliated with a religious institution or other umbrella institution such as a hospital, business or higher education campus?
What do you know about the community in which the center is located? Demographics, population, socio-economics, etc.
What basics about the facility can you learn from their promotional materials? (i.e. website, brochures etc.)

Part 2: Description of Setting
When you arrive in the preschool room for your observation give the teacher a copy of this assignment sheet. Prepare to take careful notes on the following:
A description of the setting, including:
Facility name and the classroom you are observing in
Number of children present
Number of staff present
Activities occurring during field experience time period
Other relevant information (whether families were in the room, how children responded to strangers, etc.)
After you have described the setting, please proceed to Part 3.

Part 3: Completing a Running record
Choose a child to focus on during the remainder of your field experience observation. Then:
Use a Running Record strategy to take accurate, concise, and objective notes about that child’s appearance, interactions and behaviors. Download the running record here Download Download the running record here. Try to be unobtrusive and not interfere in the class or child’s normal activities. For at least a portion of the time you are in the classroom, maneuver close enough to your target child so that you can see and hear them clearly.
While completing your running record, be sure to capture descriptions of the child’s physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional areas of development.
After you have completed Parts 1 2, and 3 please proceed to Part 4.
Part 4: Reflection
For this portion of your assignment you will be analyzing the data you collected from your observations (including the running record) through the lens of what you have learned about social, emotional, physical and cognitive development for this child’s developmental age. Your reflection needs to include each of the following:
A summary of what you observed in terms of the child’s development and learning, using examples—as applicable. Objectivity is no longer required at this point in your assignment, as you are now making subjective observations. Your summary should include each of the following:
An overview of what you observed in each developmental area. In your description, be sure to integrate theory as an infrastructure for your discussion of developmental areas.
Specific examples of how your observational data complemented or deviated from developmental milestones.https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/actearly/milestones/milestones-3yr.htmlLinks to an external site.
Three specific examples, based on your observation, of how each area of development interrelates.
A description of how contextual factors (such as race, ethnicity, language, ability, socio-economics, religion, and society) influence healthy development and learning. Based on the child you assessed, specifically, what impact might cultural, familial, biological, and environmental influences have on his or her physical and mental health, well-being, and nutrition?
A description of how protective factors within the environment could serve to alleviate stress and foster resiliency.
Recommendations for further assessment or screening (if needed) and list at least three additional resources for families and teachers in these identified areas. Include specific information, as applicable, related to multi-language acquisition.
Based on research, developmental theory, and your observations, suggest evidence-based practices, with a rationale, that you feel would support development and learning.
Identify strategies that would ensure the development and learning of each and every child, across each domain (physical/social/ emotional/cognitive/language/aesthetic), is supported through evidence-based practice.
Remember that to be valid, these conclusions should be based on numerous field experiences and in various settings. This is purely an exercise in learning about development through observation.
For the Observing Early Childhood Development and Learning Assessment, you will submit:
1. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 (scan or take a picture of the completed running record) and Part 4. You can submit everything as one document (the running record can be an additional document if you cannot integrate it into your paper). Your assessment will be between 5-6 pages.
