PART 1: REFLECT ON YOUR PAST (1)
Share your Disability Experience. Before taking this course what was your experience with disability conversations related to disability history, models of disability, ableism, access, and life quality? What narratives shaped your perceptions about the disability experience? (Consider cultural and societal influences and/or the models of disability you were most exposed to).
PART 2: ANALYZING THE PRESENT (7)
What is your major or field of interest? Explain the nature of the work you hope to do when you graduate.
What is the narrative around disability within your major of field of interest in general? How is/ is not disability welcomed, included, or represented? Share one article, video, or academic research link to support what you’ve discovered about the disability narrative in your major or field of interest. Does it align with your assessment of the narrative?
Identify the impact of ableism: Analyze how current systems, structures, and practices within your major or field perpetuate ableism and create barriers for individuals with disabilities. Consider physical and social barriers, implicit biases, and discriminatory attitudes.
Evaluate life quality: Critically assess the impact of existing structures within your major or field of interest (policies, work-life balance, opportunities, accommodations, stigmas/biases, etc) on the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Consider factors like independence, participation, opportunities, and emotional well-being.
PART 3 REIMAGINING THE FUTURE (2)
An ideal world: What 3 solutions can you envision that would improve disability representation within your major or field? Focus on innovative and creative approaches that challenge current norms and consider the sustainability and long-term challenges of implementing these solutions.

https://data.worldbank.org/. This is the link of the vizualization. There are 2 data’s that I need you to solve for the assignment. You’ll need to enter World bank, indicator, and enter the topic which is about Education “Children out of school, primary, male” then choose UAE, and QATAR, have 2 other countries with the same topic, which are Sudan and Kenya, you could change the topic to any other topic, if you would change change it thats anything thats related to economy, and choose UAE, and QATAR for the first visualization, and for the other choose, 2 African countries. Focus on creating the visualization, of the diagram, is it correct, reliable, accurate or not, and make sure to add the correct hypothesis, and define it in a good way to develop the results, by ensuring it’s plausible, from offering other research’s testability. Focus on creating the visualization, of the diagram, is it correct, reliable, accurate or not, and make sure to add the correct hypothesis, and define it in a good way to develop the results, by ensuring it’s plausible, from offering other research’s testability. And there is other PDF of the instructions, same instructions but in a better way it have explained better the one below.
In this assignment you will generate data visualizations from data sets provided below and formulate hypotheses based on the patterns you identify.
Part 1: Exploratory Data Analysis (approx. 400 words including captions)
(a) Brief introduction of the data you are presenting. Begin with a concise introduction to the dataset you are working with. Provide context about its source, relevance, and any key attributes. (More than one data set can be used; most importantly that the datasets are complementing each other and together supporting the hypothesis you will be developing)
(b) Create a minimum of two data visualizations that adhere to best practices for clarity and effectiveness. It is highly encouraged for high grades to also add a “ready made” third visual from Gap Minder or Our World in Data that would also support your hypothesis.
Ensure that your visualizations are well-labeled, appropriately scaled, and visually appealing.
Your visualizations should complement each other and should help you develop your hypothesis in part 2 of the assignment. Please ensure a strong connection between your visuals and the well thought hypothesis you will develop.
(c) Include figure captions. For each visualization, include descriptive figure captions. These captions should not only highlight essential elements within the figure but also provide a summary of the primary patterns or insights revealed by the visualization.
LO: #visualizations
Part 2: Hypothesis and Justification (approx. 200 words):
(a) Describe your hypothesis. Clearly articulate your hypothesis, which should be based on the patterns and insights derived from your data visualizations. Explain the research question or idea you aim to explore through your hypothesis.
(b) Explain how it builds on the data visualizations you present and any related readings.
Describe how your hypothesis is grounded in the data visualizations you presented in Part 1. Discuss any relevant readings or prior research that influenced the development of your hypothesis. This is highly encouraged and expected for high grades.
(c) Explain how your hypothesis can be tested. Provide specific predictions that can be measured using empirical evidence. Clarify the type of data or experiments required to support or refute your hypothesis.
(d) Explain how the hypothesis is plausible. Discuss why your hypothesis is plausible based on your understanding of the dataset, the context, and any prior knowledge. Highlight any logical reasoning or assumptions that support the validity of your hypothesis.

This course has presented an evolving scenario involving the City of Washington

This course has presented an evolving scenario involving the City of Washington Distribution Warehouse fire. Throughout your reading and analysis of the fire, you have been presented with a multitude of information that that will allow you to make recommendation to those charged with designing the suppression system in the new building. This assignment consists of four parts and your project must be at least four-pages in length (at least one page per section).
Section I
As you make suggestions to improve the water-based fire sprinkler system, refer to the background information, if needed, to provide you with the necessary material to identify the basic components common to fire protection for the City of Washington Distribution Warehouse. In addition, review the Points to Ponder Scenario in the Unit V Lesson for additional information.
This assignment is not looking for compliance with building codes nor expecting you to be a fire protection system designer. However, the purpose of this assignment is for you to apply the concepts and knowledge you learned in this unit as you begin writing your final project covering protection systems that will detect, contain, control, and extinguish a fire. This assignment provides you with the opportunity to use your skills, expertise, and experience to enrich your response.
Prepare a well-organized narrative that addresses foam- and water-based fire sprinkler systems and includes your recommendations after reviewing the background information and the information above. Your discussion will consist of your evaluation of the previous water-based sprinkler system, based on information from the textbook and any additional research needed for your recommendations for the rebuild of the warehouse. Discuss the importance of water pressure, and determine the pressure for seven sprinkler heads discharging 157.5 gallons of water per minute.
Section II
As you make suggestions to improve the fire protection system, identify the components and accessories common to fire pump installations needed for the rebuild of the warehouse. Refer to the background information, if needed, to provide you with the necessary material to identify the basic components common to fire protection for the City of Washington Distribution Warehouse.
Prepare a well-organized narrative addressing fire pumps and including your recommendations after reviewing the background information and the information above. Your discussion will consist of your evaluation of the previous fire pump and recommendations for the rebuild of the warehouse, based on information from the textbook and any additional research.
Section III
As we saw in the Points to Ponder Scenario in the unit lesson, electrical surge protection devices could have mitigated damage or even loss to the pump driver. Describe the benefits that surge protection devices provide for fire pump components and systems against the damages of voltage surges.
Section IV (Executive Summary)
In this section, you will prepare a well-organized and thoughtful summary of your recommendations for the fire protection system for the scenario-based case study course project on the City of Washington Distribution Warehouse fire. This summary should expound on what you have learned during the different parts covered in each unit, so you can understand issues that exist within the fire protection technology field. Place the summary after the title page, and follow it with your recommendations for the rebuilding of the warehouse.
The purpose of the executive summary is to provide a narrative about the project with sufficient detail to allow readers to be able to accurately describe your recommendations to resolve potential fires in the future. Explain how your recommendations for the scenario-based case study relate to the methodology you chose and to the project outcome and conclusions. In other words, your summary must be clear, logical, and demonstrate alignment among the goals, methods, and outcomes.
The executive summary should be at least one page in length.
Remember, you may use information from reputable, reliable journal articles, case studies, scholarly papers, and other sources that you feel are pertinent. You should use at least three sources, one of which must be your textbook. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations following proper APA Style.

Culture is a rich source of knowledge that is part of every child’s family you s

Culture is a rich source of knowledge that is part of every child’s family you service. We as teachers must be aware of the cultural influences that are within our communities and what our students, families, and parents have to offer our classroom. As you grow your culture is part of how you were raised, and family traditions are passed down through generations. This cultural connection to our families is important to our identity and has a profound effect on how we view the world. As a teacher, it is my job to highlight the aspects of culture that influence a child and can be a teaching tool within the class curriculum. Learning about culture helps with our sensitivity and compassion for children as we care for them. The more we know the more open we become and can provide children with an understanding of their world as they explore all the aspects of learning.
This assignment is to get you thinking about the community in which you live, service, or venture into in your free time. Southern California is a petri dish of culture, and you can find about every culture you want to explore and learn more about. For this assignment, you will need to choose a culture that you wish to learn more about and educate your classmates on. Following the attached guideline, you will need to research a culture and provide a written report on your findings. You will submit this assignment to the class discussion and then you will get the opportunity to explore what your classmates have researched to share with you. This assignment is due by the end of week 7 no later than October 8 so your classmates have time to explore your report and you have time to explore your classmates’ reports.
Some cultures to explore in our area are……
Pilipino, Portuguese, Chaldean, Kurdish, Hispanic/ Mexican -American, University Student Culture, Pacific Islander, Asian……
You can choose any other culture that is not listed as well.
I. Purposes
1. To provide the student with the opportunity to explore the diversity of cultures and
communities in San Diego.
2. To expand one’s awareness of the uniqueness of each person/culture and the “bridge” of
commonalities.
3. To gain knowledge in specific practices that influence a family’s participation and/or
interaction in an early childhood setting (meeting families’ needs in the preschool).
4. To gather information about community resources that support families from a variety of
cultures and backgrounds.
II. Written report to be submitted: You will organize your written report in the
following order:
1.. An introductory paragraph stating what cultural group in San Diego you have chosen to write
about and why. Include information about how you did your research and where you found your
materials.
2. Summarize the information you gathered about your chosen culture, emphasizing facts you
learned that will help others in the class to appreciate, understand, and value this culture.
3. End with a paragraph sharing what you personally gained from this assignment. How has it
changed your attitude, comfort level, sensitivity, or appreciation of diversity?
4. A bibliography of all materials, etc. Be very thorough: include all pertinent information about
each source. When sharing information about the person you interviewed, use first name only,
but do include age, profession, and family data.
III. Required sources of information to be included in your submission:
1. One community social club, agency, newsletter, support group, relief organization, museum,
church, etc., that exists to provide support to the cultural/ethnic group you are learning about.
(United Way has a publication of community clubs and agencies. Balboa Park has the “International
Houses”. Many cultural groups have a newsletter that can be found in front of grocery stores, etc. in a
“local” neighborhood. Some local groups have websites or national groups may have local links. School
districts often have information on specific ethnic/cultural groups. Even the phone book has listings that
can be helpful.)
2. One interview with a person from the culture/ethnic group you are learning about. This person
might be a neighbor, a parent in your preschool, a friend-of-a-friend, even a relative.
3. Two published sources of information, including books, magazines, journals, newspapers,
websites. These should be from reliable sources and very current; nothing published before 2015
will be accepted.
Note: These are the minimum requirements. You may choose to use additional resources and
materials.
The goal of this assignment is to celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of our San Diego
community. It is also to be a “bridge-builder” of awareness that we share much in common with all our
fellow citizens. We are looking to find ways to best serve the needs of all young children in our care and
their families.

Week 5 Discussion
Should the United States join the International Criminal Court? Would U.S. membership help promote international justice or would it expose American officials and service-people to politically motivated harassment? Why is the United States resistant, and does non-membership serve U.S. interests?
If you support American membership, explain why in the U.S. In the ICC thread; if you oppose U.S. membership, explain why in the U.S. Out of the ICC thread. Defend your position with either logical arguments or contemporary or historical facts. Post your essay no later than midnight on March 16.
Respond to the postings of a least two other students, one from each of the two threads, no later than midnight on March 18. What are the strengths and shortcomings of the other students” arguments? How could their arguments be strengthened? (500+ words discussion post and 120+ word replies )
History Discussion, Lesson 5
Participation in Discussions: First you have to answer thee discussion questions in each forum I posted. This will be your original or initial post. Then you must comment on one of your colleagues’ original posts in each forum.
Each of the initial (original) responses must be at least 120 words in length addressing straightforwardly the discussion question. Each of the responses (comments) to other students’ original posts must be at least 45 words in length and again must directly targeted your fellow students’ original response. You are expected to provide your comments in a way that shows you have read the book as well as the source and understood it. Moreover, the responses to the colleagues’ post should contain a new turn, brings up a new angel, or present a new piece of information. Simply saying I agree, disagree, or you think a comment is “cool” is not enough. Why you think so is a crucial part of this forum. Therefore, please do your reading before embarking on engaging with the discussion forum; otherwise, you cannot provide reasons to support your claims and justify your arguments. Although emojis (Emoticons) are allowed in the forum, please be aware that overusing them will not bring any grades for you since you are not offering a constructive contribution to the discussion by your words. This is not timed but you need to submit your responses by 11:59PM on the Friday of the week they are assigned.
