The Boston Tea Party and the Tactics of the Colonists

The Boston Tea Party is one of the most famous and most important events in the history of the American colonies opposition to the British Parliament. Disagreement with the imposed tea tax and other measures of the Tea Act, which endangered independent traders existence, was one of the last drops of patience (war-history, 2015). The tactics of confrontation chosen by the merchants are distinguished by their uniqueness and ingenuity, making them want to agree with them. First of all, I would like to note the saboteurs creativity who disguised themselves as Indians to carry out this act. While such action endangered the native population of America, it was also intended to help hide the merchants identity.

Secondly, the very concept of destroying a valuable commodity seems savage at first glance. However, it must be understood that this was done to eliminate the East India Companys monopoly. Finally, the third crucial tactical move was the presence of many people who saw this act of sabotage with their own eyes. If it were not for the crowd on the coast, this action could have gone unnoticed and not suffered such an impact.
