My Study Plan in University to Get Master of Global Management Program

Study Plan

This is Md Nafees Sadeq from Bangladesh, highly interested to study at your university in Master of global Management program and that’s why I would like to pen down my study plan here.

I completed my Secondary education in 2006 with GPA 3.5 out of 5.0 and Higher Secondary level education in 2008 with GPA 3.20. Next I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration program in 2014 from University of Asia Pacific with CGPA 2.84 out of 4.0. I completed this degree with a major in Human Resource Management and my CGPA carries 63% marks. I am pleased to inform you that Asia pacific University is one of the prominent universities of Bangladesh. After completing my Bachelor in 2014, I started to work in a renowned mobile company namely, Oppo Bangladesh Communication as a Sales Executive. Within 8 months of that I got an employment opportunity to work in a multinational company that was a very memorable achievement for me. I joined Huawei Technologies that is one of the giant companies in Bangladeshi telecommunication sector. But in 2017, I took a new challenge to join a local company called Quick Fix BD Ltd. They provide services for electronic devices and work with foreign clients as a freelancing farm. Particularly then I realized that there are still many things I have to learn specially about international business, global management and so on to be a successful business professional. Actually I was feeling low while dealing with foreign clients. Because I had no experience about international exposures or dealings. This motivated me to look for any international management degree. While surfing the internet, I have learned that Royal Roads University is a renowned public university in Canada as well as it has a good reputation across the world. I am impressed with the ranking, their campuses and the convenient study environment of royal Roads university. I am hopeful that it will allow me to pursue my career objective. I strongly believe that a world class education system will make me a knowledgeable person. I have decided to study at Royal Roads University because I wish to educate myself in a world class business management program and the industry experts to make a global career. I believe that the Master of global Management program at Royal Roads University best suits my career goals and aspirations.

I was highly sincere in my university and that’s why I was interested in the topics important for professional sector. I have already participated in various trainings and exhibitions while in my university. I have also participated in several trainings in my corporate years those were operated by foreign trainers. Those trainings were so helpful to train us about the different skills and diversification of situation. I have also realized that I still need to learn a lot of theories and practices. I believe that in order to succeed in this ever changing business sector and stand apart from the crowd, I need to have high standard of education, multi-cultural environment, foreign language proficiency, specialized skills and the understanding leadership challenges in information technology. Though I may join any leadership training program in Bangladesh, but I know that they will never give me any accredited master degree by which I may have gained extensive knowledge about global leadership and international business management. In order to become a successful entrepreneur, I need the overall knowledge and business skills that will enable me to learn about real business management. I know that Royal Roads University is one of the top-class university. There is not any single university in my country offering master in Global Management program.I am hopeful that this program will give me required business knowledge that will teach me how a business organization runs its business globally. Here I will get the in-depth learning experience. Additionally, I will have a sense to choose the right step in order to follow a successful career path. This program will provide me with highly experienced and updated business knowledge.

Besides, my job responsibility is related with several things like sales, marketing, branding, personnel management and local business. As a senior manager here, I have to communicate with the shop owners, subordinates and local dealers & suppliers. While doing the job as a Senior Territory Manager, I have realized how important it is to achieve a complete knowledge of Global Management in business. While working in an internet based firm made me realize that I need good skills and specifically an international degree. As a business graduate, I have my own opinion about the necessity of international business management as I wish to lead the business sector in Bangladesh in future with my education from Canada.

I believe that master level education is a higher level education of learning about many things because it needs 16 years of academic background with professional experience that refers the students’ classroom learnings, from their book readings and experience outside the classroom etc. There are many systems which help students to learn quickly than reading books. The learning processes are primarily offered in a mixed form. This form is created for the benefit of the working students with maintain their career. Some programs are taught face to face, some are practical based and some are online based learning. So I think I can contribute to the program’s curriculum by keeping pace with it. I can share my practical work experience with my peers.

As a business graduate, I think that I have already gained the basic business knowledge in my university life. Additionally, I have gained a 4-year practical work experience. My job responsibilities completely match with this subject. By successfully completing this master degree I wish to get the thorough business knowledge and wish to learn how a business operates considering the socio-economic environment. I have surfed internet about few programs but I think that the Global management is the perfect match for me because here I will learn about the pros and cons about international business, political barriers, international economics, corporate and international finance and so many. I think this program will expand my knowledge in business and make me more confident. Being a business graduate, I wish to start an export-import oriented business company in Bangladesh. So I believe that this program will help me to reach my goal within the next 5 to 10 years. My corporate experience has already given me enough practical knowledge but I need a different skill to lead my career where I want it to go.
