Each paper must incorporate relevant literature, including peer-reviewed articles and MSW course texts. Incorporate relevant social work values and ethics. A minimum of 20 sources is required for the overall paper. In addition, visual aids such as tables and figures should be included within the paper to illustrate the work completed with the capstone case.
The Capstone Paper is comprised of two sections. Section One focuses on the selected capstone case and incorporates content from the three mini-papers completed earlier in the course. Section Two contains a reflective synthesis of learning gained through coursework, field seminars, and clinical placement and incorporates content from the three reflection papers completed earlier in the course. The requirements for each section are described in more detail below.
The entire paper must be at minimum 32 full, double-spaced pages and no more than 40 pages; separate reference page(s) are required but do not count toward the required page count for the Capstone Paper.
