1. Each student will prepare the 1st group paper. Each student will write the “Situation & Client Analysis” part of your PR Campaign paper. The textbook chapters, an example PR campaign paper (find it in the Course Information tab), and the Bateman case study will be useful in understanding the expected format and contents of the paper. Below are a few guidelines for your paper preparation.
a. Additional research for situation & client analysis: Each student will do primary and secondary research to have an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the client organization and its situation.
– Primary research: In addition to the initial client interview, I recommend each student conduct at least “one” additional in-depth interview with the subject matter expert on the topic. It would be a good idea to ask your client to recommend the experts who would enrich your research.
b. Secondary research: In addition to the primary research, each student should conduct proper secondary research that covers the internal documents on the client organization and additional documents (e.g., academic journals, trade publications, government publications) that help each student deepen his/her understanding of the situation (e.g., challenges, problems, opportunities) of your client organization. For the secondary research, each student should find and use at least “4-5” key references for the client & situation analysis. (The references should be cited in the main writing following the APA style and the reference page should be prepared accordingly)
2. Complete the week 4 textbook quiz

[Paper format]
1. Prepare a paper format: Cover page – Table of Contents – Executive Summary – Research (submit titles: Situation Analysis and Audience Research) – Goals & Objectives – Programming (subtitles: Strategies and Communication Tactics) – Evaluation – References – Appendix.
2. Line and paragraph spacing: Single space between lines and a space between paragraphs (Reference the example paper and Bateman case study).
3. Citation style: APA style
4. The expected length for the situation analysis: 1-2 pages.
5. Editing and Proofreading: You must be very careful editing and proofreading before submission. I will continue to read your paper until I find “five” flaws (e.g., grammar errors and/or typos).

Attached is an example. My client is Rafael Sarduy a school social worker looking to open a part time psychotherapy practice in Brooklyn New York

Dr. Jzyk Ennis is a Funeral Director, Embalmer, Professor, and former president

Dr. Jzyk Ennis is a Funeral Director, Embalmer, Professor, and former president of the American Board of Funeral Service Education. He has written a manual on the minimum standards of care in the preparation room for those who are entrusted in to our care.
For this project, read the “Embalming Standards of Care” by Jzyk Ennis, and write a paper summarizing each chapter in your own words, and giving your personal opinion on what is written in each chapter. The paper should be a minimum of 5 pages in length, not including the cover page or reference page. The paper should be written in APA style, and the template for this is attached.
For your opinions, I want to see more than “I agree”. You need to write about what points you do and do not agree with, why or why not you agree, and use other sources to back your position. This means that you will need to use other books and journal articles with this assignment.
SN: I attached the template and what the book looks like! Also a big tip once report is complete!
