I want some one to help me to select the topic of my thesis I prefer the topic to be ( retrospective data ) also the data easy to access ( i am working on in hospital at infection control department and public health) my master field at public health health epidemiology
I am interested in some topic :
Like hospital acquired infection happens in adults icu ( we have all the information in our clusters but i saw from same cluster they doing this research

I have another idea about hospital outbreak related to infection ( hospital outbreak in alhasa region ( alhase my city)
But the problem hear is the infection control in Saudi Arabia make as report about how many outbreaks in the all Saudi region i will attach the link

Surveys are often used to gather public health information or data. The first step in analyzing the survey data is to conduct descriiptive statistics. Descriiptive statistics help provide basic information about the sample group, such as the average age and average income. This information can then be analyzed to effectively measure and describe a population’s health status, behavior, and associated risk factors in relation to these variables.
The purpose of this assignment is to use Excel to apply descriiptive statistics in order to describe the sample who completed a health behavior survey. Use the “Health Behavior Data Set” and the “Descriiptive Statistics in Excel Worksheet” to complete this assignment. Refer to the instructional videos in the topic Resources as a guide.
For this assignment:
Use the “Data Analysis ToolPak” add-in and Pivot Tables to complete this assignment. Refer to the “Data Analysis ToolPak” resource, located in the topic Resources. Click on the link and select either Windows or Mac for instructions. The Microsoft Excel add-in will enable you to conduct descriiptive statistics in Excel.
Read the “Health Behavior Case History and Survey” document to familiarize yourself with the survey and its purpose. You do not need to complete or submit the survey. It is for informational purposes only.
Open the “Health Behavior Data Set” in the Excel. Analyze the survey data and answer the questions in the “Descriiptive Statistics in Excel Worksheet.”

SPSS is a software that can conduct basic and complex statistical analyses. In this assignment, you will use SPSS to explore the data and conduct descriiptive statistics, create frequency charts, recode variables, and create new variables. 
For this assignment, utilize SPSS Statistics and the “Health Behavior Data Set.”
Refer to the topic Resources for assistance with accessing and using SPSS.
Follow the steps below to complete the assignment.
Part 1
Import the Excel file into SPSS.
Sort by age in SPSS to determine the age-range of participants in the data set.
Use the Descriiptive Statistics Feature in SPSS to find the mean and standard deviation for the “Age” and “Annual Income.”
Use the “Frequencies” feature to create frequency tables for the employed, education level and sex variables.
Recode the sex variable where “Male”=1 and “Female”=2. Create a frequency table for the new variable.
Compute a new “BMI” variable based on “Weight” and “Height.” Use the Descriiptive Statistics Feature in SPSS to find the mean and standard deviation for the new BMI variable.
Part 2
In 200-250 words, compare Excel and SPSS. Discuss specific SPSS software features that make it preferable to Excel for data management. Provide examples illustrating when electing to use SPSS could be preferable to Excel in regard to analyzing survey data.
General Requirements
Submit the SPSS exported output and the 200–250-word Excel and SPSS comparison to the assignment dropbox.
