Write a political theory journal article. Political Theory is typically includes wssays in contemporary or historical political thought, normative and cultural theory, history of ideas, and assessments of current work are welcome.
Your text should be no longer than 10,000 words total, including text, notes and bibliography (abstract excluded). The entire paper must be double-spaced, with one-inch margins and 12-point font. Text and notes should conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition. Simple citations should appear in-text using the author-date system described in chapter 15 of CMS and refer to a bibliography that appears at the end of the manuscriipt. Bibliographies should not include material beyond what is cited in the article. Longer notes should appear as footnotes and should also be double-spaced in 12-point font; any citations in such notes should use the same style as in-text citations. The topic for this research will revolve around questions such as the legitimacy of Vladimir Putin’s presidential regime. Tie in theoretically the concept of religion in Russia, the importance of religion, and how the religious backing behind Putin’s regime can greatly aid in the domestic legitimization of his regime.
