o At top, Title of the Article, Author, Source (Newspaper, magazine…), Date, URL, Word Count of IAR
• Possible Topics/Anything related to:
o Why Should You Study American Democracy Now?
o How Technology Has Changed Politics
o Americans’ Efficacy
o Civic Engagement
o Political Culture and American Values (Liberty, Equality, Consent of the Governed, Capitalism…)
o Ideologies (Liberalism, Conservatism…)
• Choose comprehensive/detailed articles on the issue.
• Articles must be published within the last three weeks.
• Writing: succinct, well-written, be sure to use paragraphs: a group of sentences on a single topic
• NEWS ONLY: Only facts. Who, What, When, Where, and How! There is no opinion by the journalist/author in the article.
