This is the second part of the stata assignment. The first part was done andi fa

This is the second part of the stata assignment. The first part was done andi failed, but I have still attached it for reference. This is the feedback for the first part
“This could have been a good essay, as you identified an interesting and important question and found several journal articles as a useful starting point. Your introduction and literature review effectively motivates your research, and you write in an engaging style.
Unfortunately, however, the essay turns out to fail several basic requirements of this assignment. Firstly, you do not define your question clearly – what do you consider as microaggression? Secondly, in terms of presentation, you need to properly reference the sources you use in an academic style. You have a fairly long bibliography, but the sources you used should be referenced in-text, too. (N.B. padding the citation page.) The essay also has a tendency to use emotionally/politically charged expressions. Finally, and ultimately, this is a course on data analysis. We ask that you identify dataset(s) to answer your question and generate descriptive statistics for the variables. There is no data in this assignment, and you do not demonstrate sufficient awareness that this requirement exists.”
I have also attached instructions and everything for the second part of the assignment, titles “Long assignment”
The long assignment and the short assignment should, ideally, both be part of the same research project, and you should think of them as being different sections of the same research report.
In the long assignment, you build on the theoretical groundwork and description and assessment of the variables, data, and measures that you developed in the short assignment. The focus of the long assignment is on analysing the relationship between your independent and dependent variable.
The analysis of the relationship between the variables that you undertake in the long assignment should be rooted in the theory, literature, and causal relationship that you identified or developed in the short assignment, which should be briefly summarised at the outset of the long assignment. This summary should also reflect any updates to the theory, literature, or causal relationship that you made in response to the feedback on your short assignment. The long assignment should also explicitly state the hypothesis or hypotheses that will be tested in the analysis. The hypothesis or hypotheses should translate the general causal relationship that you are investigating into specific expectations about the relationship(s) that you expect to observe between the relevant variable measures in your data.
When testing hypothesised relationships by analysing your data, you should make use of appropriate statistical tests, based on the level of measurement of your independent and dependent variables. You may undertake multiple different statistical tests but they should all be appropriate to the variables that you are analysing. Crucially, you are required to undertake either an OLS multiple regression or a logistic regression, and your choice between the two should be based on the level of measurement of your dependent variable. When conducting your regression analysis, you should control for at least one other variable relevant to the relationship that you are investigating.
A possible structure for your long assignment is as follows (the suggested word count for each section, in parentheses, are for guidance only):
Introduction (250 words):
Include a statement of the importance of the research question
Theory and literature (500 words):
This can summarise the theory and literature presented in the short assignment, with amendments based on the feedback that you received on that work
Statement of hypotheses (150 words):
These should clearly relate to variable measures in the data
Methodology (350 words):
Offer a brief summary of the data, variables, and measures that you identified in the short assignment, and a fuller explanation of methods of analysis deployed in the long assignment
Analysis of the relationship between the independent and dependent variables (600 words):
You may include any bivariate or multivariate analysis that you wish to run, appropriate to the level of measurement of the independent and dependent variables
You should include at least one OLS multiple regression or logistic regression, reflecting the level of measurement of your dependent variable:
You may run more than one regression model, if you wish, to introduce one or more control variables and observe their effects on the relationship between the independent and dependent variable, but this is not a requirement
You may use figures to graphically present the results of your analysis, but this is also not a requirement
Interpretation and discussion of the results (400 words):
Identify the meaning of your results statistically and substantively, and relate them to your hypothesis or hypotheses
This may be a separate section or incorporated into the above analysis section, depending on your preference
Conclusion (250 words)
The above penultimate section focusing on interpretation and discussion is indicative of the fact that your analysis should not merely involve producing, presenting, and describing the results of appropriate statistical tests. You are also expected to interpret those results and discuss their meaning in relation to your hypothesis (or hypotheses), theorised causal relationship, and research question. In other words, you should write about the meaning of your statistical results and their implications for the area of, or topic within, politics or international relations that is the focus of your research. You can also consider, either in discussion or conclusion, how cautious our interpretation of the results should be. This may lead to consideration of how you could overcome the limitations of your analysis if you studied this topic again with more time and resources,
The word limit for the long assignment is 2,500 words.
Stata is a must-have for this assignment. Please read all the documents for the long assignment carefully. The long Assignment files should answer any questions, but please ask for clarification if necessary.
This is a very important assignment.

Deliverable Length: 2-3 pages
Answer two questions:
1. List and discuss five techniques of neutralization of Sykes and Matza as presented by Becker (pp.307-308).
2. Distinguish between master and auxiliary status traits (Becker, p. 309). Which of the two most likely applies to the status of career criminal.
3. Sampson and Laub (pp. 315-316). introduce two concepts useful to understanding crime in the life course: trajectory and transitions. Compare and contrast the two with examples. As a description of the life course, discuss the connections among trajectories, childhood events, and adult experiences.
4. The concept of deviant career developed before that of life-course criminology. There are similarities and differences in the two approaches. How does each explain the changes in criminal behavior over the person’s life. How does each approach account for the successful exit from a deviant/criminal career?

Apply George Lakoff’s theory to one political issue and explain why both liberal

Apply George Lakoff’s theory to one political issue and explain why both liberals and conservatives would be for or against a policy preference. You must first explain the family dynamics in both the Strict Father and Nurturant Parent models (explain in detail how the models work), then list, explain, and apply at least FOUR metaphors (Examples: Moral Order, Moral Nurturance, Moral Empathy and so on…) from each model (Strict Father & Nurturant Parent) to the issue position. For example, if you chose single-payer healthcare or Medicare-For-All as your issue, you will need to explain why a conservative would be opposed to or in favor of such a policy and then explain a liberal’s opposition or preference for such a policy .
Your submission must only use the course sources provided here except material used to explain your issue. In addition, you must cite all sources in the following manner: MPL 1:55 (Moral Politics Lecture) or MMP Page 1 (Metaphor, Morality, and Politics Or, Why Conservatives Have Left Liberals In the Dust. Sources used to explain your issue must utilize the Chicago styleLinks to an external site. as foundhttps://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citatio…
Note: If you do not source your material you may earn a zero or a reduced grade. High similarity ratings above the limit are also subject to a reduced grade or a zero. In addition, the use of AI should it be detected is also subject to a reduced grade or a zero. Compose this assignment in your own words using primarily the material provided.
Steps:
1. Read Moral Politics Article
2. Watch Moral Politics lecture
3. Watch Lakoff’s lecture on Moral Politics https://www.c-span.org/video/?190817-1/dont-elepha…
4. Watch Lakoff lecture
5. Pick any issue that interests you (same-sex marriage, gun rights, healthcare, wearing masks during Covid-19, January 6th Capitol Insurrection, etc.)
6. Start your paper and discuss immediately how the Strict Father and Nurturant Parent models work. What are the dynamics in the family and outside world? This should be detailed and consistent with the lectures and reading (Moral Politics).
7. Provide a discussion of your issue. For example, if you choose income taxes you should provide a concise paragraph discussing briefly the history of the income tax, substantive changes, and the current policy.
8. Apply the models to your issue and explain why Strict Father (conservatives) and Nurturant Parent (liberals) would be in favor of or opposed to your issue position. Remember the parents represent the government and children represent the people or citizens.
9. Pick four metaphors that inform the conservative position from the metaphors in the Strict Father model (Moral Order, Moral Strength, Moral Self-interest, etc.)
10. Pick four metaphors that inform the liberal position from the metaphors in the Nurturant Parent model (Moral Empathy, Moral Social Nurturance, Moral Fair Distribution, etc.)
11. Be sure to explain and describe in detail each metaphor you choose and explain how they apply to the issue position of the liberal or conservative. You will do this a total of eight times for eight metaphors. For example, Moral Empathy requires you to feel what others feel, so a liberal might be in favor of same-sex marriage because it wouldn’t feel nice not to be able to marry your life partner.
12. Be sure to fully describe the models, metaphors, and apply them in detail. This is your opportunity to showcase your understanding of Lakoff’s theory.
If you can apply the models and metaphors effectively you can also argue that both liberals and conservatives would be in favor or opposed to the same policy preference, but this requires more effort and you may wish to consult me during office hours. You do not need an introduction but your paper will be assessed for the hallmarks of a college essay including proper grammar and punctuation, topic sentences, and other expectations of college writing. Your paper will be assessed through Turnitin.com and should be at least 1000 words and submitted in one of the following formats: Microsoft Word (.DOC/.DOCX), OpenOffice (.ODT), WordPerfect (.WPD), PostScript (.PS), (PDF), (TXT), (RTF), (HWP), (HTML), (PPT) or Google Docspers in the following conditions may receive a zero: not submitted in a required format or a corrupted file (it can’t be read and Turnitin.com can’t assess plagiarism), incomplete papers, high similarity ratings by Turnitin.com (25 % or above), or emailed to me. Late papers will be accepted and the late penalty will apply. For details on how your paper will be graded please see the rubric attached to your assignment in Canvas.

Topic – An Analysis of Anxiety, Patriotism, and Leadership Loyalty Examining the Qatar Blockade:
In the context of the Qatar blockade, the concept of “Communities of Feeling” elucidates how shared emotions, initially fueled by anxiety, were harnessed to bolster patriotism and loyalty to the leadership. Examining the “Directionality of Emotions,” it becomes apparent how these emotions were strategically mobilized to strengthen national unity and support for the government amidst the crisis, while also considering the potential demobilizing effects of fear and uncertainty. Furthermore, the notion of “Moral Shocks” highlights how the sudden imposition of the blockade disrupted existing moral frameworks, prompting emotional responses that reshaped political attitudes and allegiance within Qatari society.
