What Does Self Expression Mean to You: Opinion Essay

Individuals convey emotions through dance and this was seen by the crowd, as it is certain that people can perceive emotions when messages are communicated through a moving body. Also, dancing is one of the most freeing and open approaches to communicating emotions, as body movements are simply the main factor here in communicating. For this reason, I joined the dance team for this upcoming CPAR festival since self-expression is one of my most profoundly respected and loved qualities, and I firmly want individuals to perceive the emotions we prepared in our dance routine. (3)

I highly value the significance of self-expression in my life, as I need to communicate my thoughts and sentiments, and these expressions can be shown to the crowd through my body movements, decisions, and actions. At its center, self-expression is all about communicating ourselves, and it can take a wide assortment of structures. Through this competition, I can use my facial expressions, body, movements, and actions to communicate how flexible my authentic internal identity is. In spite of the fact that the thought is simple, it appears that only a small number of people completely understand the significance of self-expression. Due to the fact of having constant missives, we contemplate what we should do and who we should be can make it hard to relinquish expectations and basically be ourselves. But with the help of dancing, I realized that self-expression is not just significant for our associations with other people, yet it is likewise fundamental for ourselves. A lot of people say that we find out about ourselves through dancing, thinking about our identity, and participating in creative learning, such as dancing, which will give us an edge in varying walks of life. For these real factors, I can say that self-expression is an essential part of the puzzle in my life which is true satisfaction in one’s life; it permits me to be the best version of myself, arrives at my maximum capacity, and make it significant. Through dancing, my self-expression urges me to be the best I can be, and additionally, permits me to work adequately with my co-dancers. Acting in arrangement with my self-expression enacts my prefrontal cortex, giving me more prominent access to our higher-order capacities like inventive and creative reasoning, and being good at critical thinking.

I see dance in my life as the manner in which we communicate when words are inadequate, the delight I feel over freshly discovered love, the assurance I have even with extraordinary distress or misfortune, the energetic fire of my childhood, and the quietness of our gentler and increasingly agile years – these thoughts would never be expressed more completely than through dancing. Additionally, the thought of difficulties to find suitable and fitting words to communicate my emotions gives me an unfair feeling, yet dancing gives me an opportunity to be more expressive through movements. For this reason, I consider dancing to be the interpreter of my thumping heart wherein I exceptionally perceive that dance utilizes the body as an instrument wherein non-verbal communication can be exaggerated and abstracted for it to project an interminable number of emotions. I see that dance, utilizes the human structure, and an artistic expression that is associated with our bodies for it to tell a story. As people can recognize their emotions and feelings when watching a dance routine.

Meanwhile, what makes dancing significant in a community is that it permits us to dance in groups which encourages us to bond with one another and furthermore it features one’s way of life. For instance, indigenous cultures, revere dancing as a type of relationship of body and soul, and relationship with others, as dancing together is a path for them to reach each other for the association. A work of art, such as dancing, makes a small community wherein everybody belongs; there is no set-in-stone method for moving, so individuals get to be themselves — unique. This idea acknowledges dance as a method of communication so as to demonstrate that dance is unavoidable and essential in its quality in human social orders all throughout the world. As a method of communication, dance is utilized to foster a relationship, frame and develop social and cultural bonds; and even express cultural and political desires and inclinations. When people dance together, they will learn to unite as one under coordinated actions and rhythmic patterns; they figure out how to help out each other toward shared objectives when dealing with community-oriented development ventures — we of all people have already figured out how to regard each other’s endeavors and welcome each other’s diverse cultural beliefs. For this reason, dance is not just confined to a segment of the performing expressions, it is, also all by itself, a method of communication. Thus, dance expands our social mindfulness and abilities on numerous levels as we become progressively mindful of the qualities and convictions of our own and various social orders by performing different types of dances.

I acknowledge dance to be not only confined to body movements, as it resembles moving poetry — as this is performed with thoughts, feelings, expressions, and exquisite movements; wherein it brings alive the significance of the piece. I have understood that a move done by our body alone is deficient — it must have the correct facial expressions and enough involvement by each individual’s authentic inner self, as dancing must be performed with passion, for it to draw out the magnificence of the whole piece. In this way, dancing is the medium through which we show the world who we genuinely are and who we can be, as I believe that we are not generally the same, I had realized that every single one of us is magnificently exceptional, with numerous layers of character and ability woven so that nobody on Earth might have our equivalent inner self.

Physical Aspect of Personality Essay

Introduction

Personality is a complex and multifaceted construct that encompasses various dimensions, including thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. While traditionally, personality has been associated with internal traits and psychological factors, there is growing recognition of the influence of physical appearance on one’s personality. This essay aims to explore the physical aspect of personality, examining the ways in which appearance can impact perceptions, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. By understanding the connection between physicality and personality, we can develop a more holistic view of human nature.

The Role of Physical Appearance in First Impressions

Research has consistently shown that physical appearance plays a significant role in forming first impressions. People tend to make quick judgments based on superficial characteristics such as facial features, body language, and grooming. These initial impressions can shape perceptions of an individual’s personality traits, including attractiveness, friendliness, trustworthiness, and competence. While these snap judgments may not always be accurate, they can influence subsequent interactions and shape social dynamics.

The Halo Effect and Physical Attractiveness

The halo effect refers to the tendency to attribute positive qualities to physically attractive individuals. Numerous studies have demonstrated that individuals perceived as physically attractive are often associated with desirable traits such as intelligence, kindness, and competence, regardless of their actual character. This bias can lead to preferential treatment, increased social opportunities, and enhanced self-esteem for those who possess attractive features. However, it is important to note that physical attractiveness alone does not determine one’s true personality, and individuals should be evaluated based on their actual traits and actions.

Body Language and Nonverbal Communication

Physical aspects such as posture, gestures, and facial expressions are integral components of nonverbal communication, which plays a crucial role in interpersonal interactions. Body language can convey confidence, assertiveness, openness, or nervousness, all of which contribute to the perception of an individual’s personality. For instance, someone with a relaxed and open posture may be seen as approachable and friendly, while someone with tense body language might be perceived as guarded or distant. Understanding and utilizing positive body language can enhance one’s communication skills and create a favorable impression.

Body Image and Self-Esteem

Physical appearance also influences an individual’s self-esteem and overall sense of well-being. Society’s emphasis on certain beauty standards can lead to body image dissatisfaction and negative self-perception, particularly in cases where one’s appearance deviates from the cultural ideal. Poor body image can impact confidence, social interactions, and mental health, thereby affecting aspects of personality. It is crucial to promote body positivity and encourage individuals to focus on their unique qualities and strengths rather than solely on external appearance.

The Role of Physical Activity

Engaging in regular physical activity not only has physical health benefits but also positively impacts personality traits and psychological well-being. Exercise has been linked to increased self-confidence, reduced anxiety and depression, and improved mood. Physical activity provides an outlet for stress, boosts energy levels, and promotes self-discipline and perseverance. These psychological benefits can contribute to the development of positive personality traits such as resilience, determination, and self-assurance.

Conclusion

The physical aspect of personality is a multifaceted phenomenon that encompasses various dimensions, including appearance, body language, and physical activity. While physical attributes and nonverbal cues can influence first impressions and interpersonal interactions, it is important to recognize that personality extends beyond outward appearances. True character is shaped by a combination of internal traits, experiences, and behaviors. Nevertheless, understanding the impact of physicality on personality can help foster self-awareness, promote body positivity, and facilitate meaningful connections based on genuine understanding and acceptance. By embracing the holistic nature of personality, we can cultivate a more inclusive and empathetic society.

The Cost of Survival: Argumentative Essay

Introduction

Survival is a primal instinct embedded in the human psyche. Throughout history, individuals and societies have faced challenging circumstances that forced them to make difficult choices to ensure their survival. However, these choices often come at a cost, raising profound ethical dilemmas. This essay will argue that while survival is a fundamental human right, the cost of survival must be carefully examined to ensure that ethical principles are not compromised.

The Value of Human Life

Human life is inherently valuable and should be protected. Every individual has the right to survival, and society has a moral obligation to provide necessary resources and support. However, this does not imply that any means of survival can be justified. The cost of survival should not involve infringing upon the rights or well-being of others.

Ethical Dilemmas in Extreme Situations

In extreme situations, such as natural disasters or war, individuals and communities are often faced with ethical dilemmas. They may be forced to make difficult choices that challenge their moral principles. For example, individuals may resort to looting or violence to obtain necessary resources for survival. While these actions may be driven by desperation, they raise ethical concerns as they harm others in the process.

Utilitarianism and the Greater Good

The ethical theory of utilitarianism posits that actions should be judged based on their overall consequences and the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people. In survival situations, utilitarian reasoning may be employed to justify actions that prioritize the collective survival and well-being. However, this approach can be problematic if it disregards individual rights and dignity. The cost of survival must be evaluated in a way that does not sacrifice the ethical principles that underpin our society.

Moral Responsibility and Accountability

Even in dire circumstances, individuals and societies bear moral responsibility for their actions. While survival instincts may drive individuals to make choices that contradict their usual ethical framework, it is essential to recognize that these choices have consequences. Accountability for actions taken in the name of survival should not be dismissed or ignored. A careful balance must be struck between the need for survival and upholding moral principles.

Building Resilience and Ethical Decision-Making

In light of the ethical dilemmas posed by survival situations, efforts should be made to build resilience and ethical decision-making skills. Education and awareness can equip individuals and communities to navigate challenging circumstances while maintaining their ethical compass. Developing strategies for preparedness and fostering a culture of empathy and cooperation can help mitigate the difficult choices individuals face during times of crisis.

Conclusion

Survival is a fundamental human right, and in extreme situations, individuals and communities are often faced with difficult choices to ensure their survival. However, the cost of survival should not be measured solely in terms of immediate physical needs. Ethical considerations must be at the forefront of decision-making processes to avoid compromising fundamental principles of justice and human rights. By recognizing the value of human life, exploring ethical dilemmas, and promoting resilience and ethical decision-making, we can strike a balance that upholds both survival and our shared moral obligations. It is through this careful consideration and conscientious action that we can navigate the complexities of survival while preserving our ethical integrity.

Informative Essay about the Importance of Voting

I turned 18 on the 15th of March 2019. The thought of turning 18 had me over the moon with excitement. The amount of responsibility that came with it, but also the number of benefits of turning 18 was beyond amazing. The fact that I could now drive, the fact that I now had a later curfew, the fact that I would be finishing school this year, but above all that, it was the fact that I could now utilize my right to vote.

Being a first-time voter and a black female in South Africa, I found that I am actually within a small group of people who are able to vote and who are actually willing to vote. I realized this during the week leading up to voting day, the teachers were asking who was going to vote, and in every class I was in, there were probably 2 or 3 people that raised their hands. This being compared to the 15-20 people who wanted to vote but were too young to was astonishing to see. I was also shocked to find out that my cousin and brother refuse to vote, the reason being that they truly believe that all the votes are rigged and, I quote, “we already know who is going to win in any case”. I also found that those who are able to vote are the ones who complain the most about what goes on in the country, but when given the chance to change, they refuse to do so.

The youth of South Africa was turning their back on elective politics at the fastest rate seen in the past two decades. The number of young South Africans that were registered to vote this year had dropped to its lowest since 1999 (it has dropped by over 300k since 1999). This issue is a massive problem as it gives the older generation, the minority, more power, and gives the younger generation, the majority, less power. The older generation, therefore, decides our future, while we sit back and complain when we should take our future back instead.

1994 was a significant time for South Africa as it was the first time that everybody in the country was able to vote, no matter the ethnicity, unlike previous years when only white people were only vote. At the time the biggest group voting was black people, now the biggest group is the youth, at the time the black people were the group fighting for their right to vote and once it was received every person that was eligible to vote did, now the youth are the ones fighting for their right to have to say in the country and for their voices to be heard, meanwhile they can’t even take time out of their day to simply tick a box and possibly change their country for the better.

The problem has been caused by the youth of South Africa, as well as the adults. It is the mindset that we have that there is no point because we already know what is going to happen or who is going to win. This mindset is encouraged by our elders as they, understandably so, still have mindsets of the past which therefore influence us. The problem continues to prevail because when we complain about what occurs in our country, no one stops us and explains to us that it’s our own fault as we are the majority and the ones who can lead the way for a change, instead we are shut down and told that we should focus on our studies but the people who affect our studies are the adults who those who choose the path of our future, therefore, meaning it is a vicious cycle, but the good news is that there is something that can be done about this.

I truly believe that voting is a superpower. Of course, it isn’t mind reading, abnormal strength, or even water manipulation, but it does determine the future of the country in which I live, and I think that that is a pretty great superpower. I also have the ability to speak in front of people with no fear so I could also educate the youth, a crowd of people I can relate to (therefore, another superpower), and tell them the importance of voting and what good it does for the country and our own future.

Qualities of a Successful Person: Informative Essay

There are many successful people in this world today; famous names are Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and many more. Despite the fact that a successful person has many qualities, in my opinion, the most important qualities are self-relevance, passion, willpower, patience, self-confidence, good communication skills, honesty, and last but not least, connection.

The first quality of a successful person is self-relevance. It means people can shoulder their responsibilities and accountabilities, it also means that they make tough decisions and stand by them. Passion is the second quality to become successful. Passion means that if you want to succeed in life, it’s not politeness, but rather a passion that will get you there at the right place. The third quality of a successful person is willpower, which means that you have the strength to see things through you won’t vacillate or procrastinate. The fourth quality is patience. You are willing to be patient and you understand that in everything there are failures and frustration. Having patience in your life is the most important thing for you. The fifth quality of a successful person is self-confidence. Self-confidence is something like believing in yourself, you have to be confident in what you do in your life. Self-confidence is something that you have to gain in yourself. The sixth quality is good communication, it is also known as communication is key to success. Having good communication skills helps in many ways, such as it helps in business, it helps maintain business relationships, and it also helps in personal life. This quality is one of the most important because without communication skills you will not be able to be as perfect as other successful people in this world. The seventh quality of a successful person is honesty. Being honest in life is important, never lie about anything. Today it’s hard to find an honest person in this world. From my point of view, being honest plays a huge role in our lives. Last but not least, the eighth quality – connection – is very important in achieving success. This quality means building a connection with other people and companies. Building a new connection will lead them to make new companies, it will lead to new partnerships, which will also lead to bringing new inventions.

The qualities listed above are mandatory for a successful person, because without these qualities, in my opinion, success in life is impossible.

Critical Essay on the Importance of Being Open-Minded

Personal values are determined by things I believe are important to me and reflect my character. An important value that I carry with me on a day-to-day basis would be open-mindedness. Due to my personal belief in a particular religion, it is very easy to judge people who disagree with you. It takes a personal value and character to deal with certain situations. The value of being open-minded gives me a chance to learn about the beliefs and way of life of the next person. As a Christian, you are not to judge others. Being open-minded leads to the unknown, you will be given the chance to explore and gain new knowledge about the people around you which is important in today’s society. People can be very one-sided, which blocks their ability to inquire about new knowledge.

Beliefs and values hold two very different ideas. When analyzing the values according to Jarod Davis, “Values are not based on information from the past and they are not contextual. Values are universal. Values transcend contexts because they are based on what is important to us: They arise from the experience of being human” (Davis, 2019). On the flip side beliefs are, “Assumptions we hold to be true. When we use our beliefs to make decisions, we are assuming the causal relationships of the past, which led to the belief, will also apply in the future” (Davis, 2019). For my personal experiences in a church setting, I would rely on my beliefs to bring me to a place in which others around me believe that there is such a thing as a God. But, in school and how I treat the others around me would depend on my personal values of respecting others and treating them with kindness on everyday occasions.

Open-mindedness to me means being open to learning and gaining new knowledge about things you may either not agree with or new things around you. Open-mindedness can play a role in our daily lives, whether it’s big or small. For myself, many experiences, including volunteering, my religion, and today’s society, in general, have caused me to be open-minded. When working with at-risk youth, volunteer work comes with being open-minded. Many times, we put ourselves in place to help others not knowing what to expect. Many people don’t have time to sit down and reflect on their character or morals. Most of the time these young kids are worried about where their next meal will be coming from. They have different beliefs and values than I do. So, when going into situations where you are going to volunteer in places where it may not be considered a great area, you must go in with an attitude to help change their situations and to make a long-lasting impact on those kids’ lives.

From my belief in Christianity, being open-minded is key. To not judge the next person is widely discussed in the Bible. Many people, even in the same belief group as I am, are not open-minded. Over time society has become very liberal. Topics that would not have been accepted are now being expected and put up for discussion. For example, gay marriage is a big deal in today’s society. Many Christians are absolutely against gay marriage. I do not agree with it, but I would never talk down on anyone that is because I should not judge the next person. We are all sinners in our own ways. I would rather see someone happy with their significant other whether it’s opposite gender or same sex than live an unhappy life based on what others think. Many times, I feel as if people in today’s world get caught up in their personal perspective of things that could cloud their judgment to gain more knowledge.

Being open-minded is not easy when certain things from your past have been instilled in you from a young age. Also, a great example would be politics. The younger generation generally chooses democrat or republican based on the preference of their parents not based on their own judgment, which makes it harder for people to be unique and to express themselves. When it comes to political views being spoken in the classrooms of schools, it can now be a very touchy and dangerous topic. Many are not willing to hear why someone on the opposite viewpoint of politics chooses whom they want to win for election. Many times, I have experienced heated arguments among classmates. We tend to not listen to comprehend, but rather in motion of thinking what the next argument they may speak on.

A quote that I found interesting said these exact words: “Let go of your attachment to being right, and suddenly your mind is more open. You’re able to benefit from the unique viewpoints of others, without being crippled by your own judgment” (Marston). This quote is important due to the fact that the context communicates that being right is not the most important thing, but learning about the viewpoints is. You cannot gain anything with a limited mindset.

In conclusion, open-mindedness is a value of mine that is derived from a belief of mine and personal experiences. Open-mindedness is a core value I believe that everyone should work on due to the changes in society. As a community, we should always want to seek new ways to look at things in life. Everyone should want to broaden their horizons and explore the unknown. We feel most comfortable placing ourselves around people with similar values and beliefs. People can have very strong views that lead them to have a closed mind. Being brought up around a certain way of life can be very challenging to open up and see why others do things differently. Experiencing change can always have a positive insight into your knowledge. It can even sometimes change how you may view the world in the long run.

Narrative Essay on the Meaning of Prayer for Me

According to Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary, prayer is an address, such as a petition, to God or a god in word or thought, but I believe prayer has a deeper meaning. Prayer is us lifting our minds and heart to God spiritually.

Every day I was so used to the normalcy of getting up every day and going to school, with the occasional activity or two. I went to church most Sundays with my family as everyone else did. I prayed the prayers straight from the memoization that I was taught in school and at home. Life just fell into a repetitive cycle, throughout my life prayer was just another thing I did, like brushing my teeth or getting dressed in the morning. Then life took a change and I needed new priorities.

Although I may have never moved across the world or had to switch schools, change is challenging in different ways. Life took an awakening change starting in middle school. Much like everyone else, I entered sixth grade confused about who I was. I didn’t know where I fit in or who to be, but life went on.

I lost many friends to drama and there was never enough time for living. After being so caught up in a life that did not matter, there was a not-so-easy awakening from people who cared about me. I learned to control my own thoughts by connecting to God.

God became someone to rely on to guide me through the new challenges life brought me. Talking to God is like talking on the phone, you can’t see Him, but through your words of prayer, there is a connection. No matter the time of day, God ‘picks up the phone’. He calls us: “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you”. We do this by praying to our God to establish that relationship we have with Him.

When praying, you ask for things, you pray for others, but God doesn’t always answer our prayers. Not always what we pray for is good for ourselves since we are blind-sided by commercial media. What we read or hear in the media influences on what we believe God can help us achieve. He gives us the free will to be able to choose to be good, but when we don’t, we thank Him for confession to get on the track of living a prayerful life.

Informative Essay on Human Dignity

Human dignity is the belief that each individual holds a special worth that’s tied exclusively to their humanity. It’s nothing to try and do with their category, race, gender, religion, abilities, or the other issue apart from them being human. The conception of human dignity isn’t restricted to human rights. In fact, for hundreds of years, religions around the world have recognized a sort of human dignity as we tend currently know it. Most (if not all) religions teach that humans square measure basically equal for one reason or another. In human dignity, there’s the right framework and also the faith framework.

The right framework is taken into account because of the work surroundings that you simply can work on and what square measure the kind of individuals which will you may work with. The first that means of the word ‘dignity’ established that somebody merited respect owing to their standing. All people in general square measure born free and equal in dignity and rights. One thing that folks earned in sight of their cluster, race, or another most popular position. It’s one thing all individuals square measure brought into the globe with. Basically, by being human, all people benefit regard.

The human dignity religions frameworks it’s the way to respect individuals and don’t bull alternatives with their religions you ought to contend with individuals with respect, and the concept of human dignity is not restricted to common freedoms. Actually, for quite a very long time, religions around the globe have perceived a kind of human pride as we tend to presently get the picture. Most (if not all) religions instruct that folks square measure primarily equivalent for a few clarifications. In Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, this can be on the grounds that folks were created within the image of God, bobbing up to be offspring of God. Pride is a few things that a heavenly being provides for people.

In Catholic social education, the expression ‘human poise’ is employed expressly to assist the congregation’s conviction that every human life is consecrated. This characterizes the category’s devotion to social problems like completion execution. The essential duties to our fellow human are answerable for your fellow human being’s physical safety, you’re dependable to the people around you for his or her welfare the maximum amount all things thought of in your capability. You cannot usually guard everyone since you do not extremely have superpowers, but that does not mean you get to inactively sit back and sit idle. There’s virtually a law regarding serving somebody after they square measure in bother.

If you see somebody in bother and you are doing not facilitate, not solely square measure you breaking the law. To boot, you’re answerable for your fellow human beings’ mental/emotional safety, you’re in control of swinging in on your Internet and creating all the distinction. you need to support the people United Nations agency cannot defend itself. It’s your duty to confirm your kindred man, lady, and child is upbeat and helpful still as might be expected. confine mind, you have got these forces in any case. The square measure you’re answerable for ensuring all people, in general, are treated equally. Nowadays, we tend to as a general public, as a race of creatures, cannot manage the value of for even one individual to neglect their duties. We tend as an entire got to pay special mind to every alternative, and also a lot of people in United Nations agencies venture up and contend with one another, the higher our race beat all are going to be. You’ll be able to do that by reusing, observing vitality, cultivating, planting trees, supporting close stops, and so on. The foremost is necessary for human dignity you have got to be happy with your superpower, although you ignore all of the responsibilities and fake, you’re simply drifting through life, ineffectual to the items around you, and you’ll still be poignant with the people around you.

Adore it or not, we’re all on this planet alone. We’re all facing similar conflicts, and we tend to tear all on the same method of life, despite how extraordinary we as an entire might seem. The foremost ideal approach to beat this life is by cooperating. You would like to try and do your half. The work will not be complete except if you venture up and bonk while no anyone facilitates. You are a hero in your own specific manner. You need to create all the distinctions systematically and contend with the people around you. We cannot turn a blind eye toward human dignity in three important things, which are: 1) the bullying from others toward us and we should don’t listen to them while they saying bad things and heart us with their meaning and voice, 2) we cannot blind eye toward people treat you with their temperament, and 3) do not be bowed to those who hardened you, because that will affect your personality and you will be not comfortable and will affect in your future as well. The human does not inherit dignity or offense but rather creates it himself. Human pride or dignity to me implies not just having solid ethics that help society to thrive and improve, yet finishing on them. Each individual has the fundamental right to regard both himself and his kindred man. Each individual has the option to have opportunities to communicate. People have the right to be free of fear. They have the right to find peace in many ways that they feel comfortable with. And according to Emmanuel Kant, the only thing we should will about is our happiness as human beings. Once we have happiness, we’ll be able to enjoy good health and nourish proper relationships. In our religion, which is Islam, the protection of human dignity is one of the basic needs of human rights. Moreover, many references in the Holy Qur’an have stated that human dignity is really important and every human being deserves it. The Qur’an says that God’s love for humanity is immense, the sanctity for human life immeasurable, and the necessity for freedom a prerequisite, thus restating the need for human equality and accountability for all acts done to humanity. Therefore, all human beings deserve to be treated with utmost dignity.

In conclusion, when it comes to human dignity, we speak that if people are treated with dignity, they usually have the right to make choices for themselves. Dignity also indicates people have been treated with dignity. For example, when we argue about the dignity of the elderly, we mean that they are treated as adults and not as children. Dignity covers privacy, as well. People often think their freedom is lost when their privacy is snatched away. Therefore, mankind can be seen in numerous structures, structures that are inverse and clashing, which are advanced by numerous individuals. Humankind is likewise alluded to as vulnerability and distress or trouble, and the Church shows its worries about these hitches, in reality, the Church itself can propound an explanation by which the state of mankind might be delineated. The Church likewise clarifies the weakness and trouble of mankind in a way that they respect and calls/getaways be declared in the awesome, genuine light. Human nobility to me means not as it was having solid ethics that offer assistance to society to thrive and make strides, but taking after through on them. Each human being has the fundamental right to regard both himself and his fellow man. Each individual has the correct freedom to express his ethical beliefs through words and activities that will offer assistance to his development as he employments his talents to assist others. Individuals have the right to be free of fear. They have the right to discover peace within the understanding and acknowledgment of who they are, but as it were to the degree that their rights don’t interfere with the rights and convictions of others. Each person’s rights conclusion where the nobility of others begins. Human respect includes regard and compromise among the diverse individuals of any society. Individuals come from distinctive families, diverse nations, distinctive religions, diverse political frameworks, and diverse races. Their convictions make up diverse frameworks of ethics. The regard of these ethics or human respect decides how it works. The assurance of human poise is not a good idea. The Red Cross Development is a crisis reaction unit that makes prompt and physical movement and takes part in long-haul activities to advance the practical turn of events. The human capacity to forestall human nobility is these days at peril and requires a ton of endeavors.

The individuals who need to uncover human respect must begin to look also exist together at the equivalent time and in the equivalent. This cannot just carry to the concurrence with the opportunity of each person, yet that likewise assists with unfurling their opportunity. I unassumingly accept that each individual has poise, and each person ought to be regarded and ensured, as human dignity precisely implies that each merit regard, because each progression of human life is valuable and is deserving of having admiration and insurance, and if an individual is taken from him the privilege to life, the pride consequently is detracted from him. To add up, all human creatures are born free, meaning that we are all the same and we all have the same rights concurring to each small detail in life. It implies that each human being has got to have the same opportunity in life, for example, in getting a job, instruction, or achieving assets necessary for life. The issue is that it doesn’t go that way, instep it’s the other way around. Society isolates the world into classes in which the higher classes get all the benefits, whereas really few individuals truly intellect the destitute or lower classes. This demeanor has been there for years and years since the early ages. For ages, individuals have been up to manhandling the less blessed for their advantage. Typically, this is the strategy that has led the presently huge powers to be the financial monsters they are now, which made the 3rd world countries what they are now. Although it is difficult to make things fair for all, efforts should be made to do so.

My View of the Law of Attraction: Narrative Essay

Want something? Just ask the universe. I strongly believe that you can have control of your reality and the outcome of your life situations just with your conscious and unconscious thoughts. My belief stems from several reasons, which are because psychologists and scientists support the use of affirmations, manifestation believers were found in historical roots, and there are many testimonies related to just positive thinking. The law of attraction states that you will attract into your life whatever you give your focus, energy, and attention to. This means that whatever energies you put out into the world, positive or negative, those energies will reflect in yourself and your life. If you’re truly aware of what you want, both resultative and materialistic-wise, all you have to do is pretend they’re already coming your way. Be open to the idea that it could actually happen, and will.

The law of attraction is not scientifically based, but the idea of ‘positive thinking’ is. However, I believe that there is an obvious connection between the two, as positive thinking supports many of the statements found in the law of attraction, one being the use of affirmations. Affirmations are mainly defined being the positive statements and unconscious beliefs that you embed into your mind to overcome inner obstacles, as well as negative ways of thinking that could hold you back. The thought that individuals can heal themselves by altering their thoughts isn’t new at all to psychology. Both cognitive and behavioral psychology support this idea. Affirmations have been used within the field of psychology in the aspects of therapy, recovering from trauma, dealing with depression, and improving physical health. Many scientists also support affirmative beliefs and have done studies proving how they work. A study led by Christopher Cascio and Emily Falk showed that affirmations put the reward circuits in our brains to use. These reward circuits help us to deal with pain, and keep our minds balanced. Other research has also shown that positive thinking could add years to your life. A study showed that those with a positive outlook on aging lived about 7.5 years more than others without that outlook.

Not only do psychologists and scientists support some of what makes up the law of attraction, but some of the greatest philosophers of all time have also. According to Katherine Hurst, a journalist from theLawofAttraction.com, around 391 BC, the Greek philosopher Pluto once stated that “likes tend towards likes”. As Hurst stated, this quote is similar to the saying ‘like attracts like’, which means you attract what you seek, and that you’re attracted to those who are like-minded to you. That saying is a light explanation of what the law of attraction is all about. Buddha, a philosopher, has put out insights that have inspired the world. He once said: “What you have become is the result of what you have thought”. I don’t think that even today he would argue that all thoughts, even the subconscious ones, don’t have some sort of effect.

It’s been shown in many believers that practicing and using self-affirmations definitely leads to an increase in one’s view of the world and their self. Those who consistently believe in themselves and wish for the best are the ones who will most likely obtain a positive outcome. Many people have actually, unwaveringly, used concepts from the law of attraction. Have you ever applied for a job and just ‘hoped for the best’, and then a couple of days later you get called in for an interview? Better yet, have you ever gone to class to take a test, at first feeling unsure, but when you were done, you had the mindset of ‘I did my best’, and you ended up passing? I, myself have experienced instances where the law of attraction has impacted me. On normal days, I wake up with the mindset that ‘today is going to be a good day’. In the end, those days do turn out to be good days, if I didn’t allow them to be considered ruined.

Those who are too busy thinking ‘I can’t’ are distracted from actually doing so. Dwelling on negativity doesn’t get anyone far. Because of psychologists, scientists, philosophers, testimonies, and my personal experiences, I believe in the law of attraction. You can obtain your own proof, and change your life around, by just asking the universe for what is it that you want, and keeping a positive mindset. Speak it into existence.

Why Should the Voting Age Stay at 18: Persuasive Essay

Have you ever wanted to know what it was like to be able to vote? Well, some believe that the voting age should be changed, in particular, lowered to 16 years. As for me, I do not support this and believe that the voting age of 18 should remain, because we should be more mature to vote.

Today, kids under the age of 18 continue to rely on their parents’ choices because they don’t have time to research when they are in college. When you are in college, you should be focusing on your grades and your degree. You barely even know how to do your taxes, so why would you get to vote? Some kids don’t go to college, so what is our reasoning for that? You might live with your parents for a while after you graduate from high school. You only listen to what your parents say, even though you might not believe what they are saying.

At 16, young people are less experienced in living alone, paying taxes, and just surviving in the real world. Their parents have told them how to live their lives instead of actually showing them. Some teenagers are incredibly immature, so it would be wrong to let a teen who did not know what they were even doing vote. If 16-year-olds are too young to buy a gun to hunt or protect themselves, then they should be too young to vote. Also, oftentimes when you are this old you don’t have your own opinion, so you just vote for the person that your parents are voting for. Some people think the voting age should be lowered because they think their kids have great ideas and they have all this extra time because they don’t help their parents around the house. When they vote, they don’t realize what they are getting into.

This is what Robert Tracinski from The Federalist says: “But what I’ve seen from the teenagers getting the most television coverage has confirmed their poorly considered political views should not have binding power over anyone and explained why they should not be given any kind of authority on matters of national importance”. 16-year-olds think that it would be so awesome to be able to vote, they think this is some kind of a game. But our nation and the way we run it depends on the people who are in it, and I don’t think we should be putting some of the ways we run the United States of America into the hands of a mindless 16-year-old who doesn’t know what they are doing. We don’t even know if they will actually research things instead of just randomly choosing a name. They aren’t even fully adults yet, and they should still be in high school, in which they are either hanging out with friends or studying for an oncoming test. How would they have time to research what they need to know?

I don’t think we should lower the voting age because teenagers don’t always think about what’s right. Older people know better than people who are still in school. We don’t need young citizens to let this environment fall. We need more mature people to vote. Therefore, the best solution is to keep the voting age at 18.
