Overview Social media is a popular communication medium. Although initially conceptualized as a way for people to share snippets of their lives with their social circle, it has now emerged as a profitable medium for brands to advertise their businesses. Consider this assignment a practice opportunity for the social media advertisement you will create in the course project. Scenario Scoop Shoppe Artisan Creamery is a niche ice cream company that handcrafts small batches of artisanal ice cream daily. It uses all organic ingredients free from artificial additives, preservatives, emulsifiers, and stabilizers. It also offers vegan and lactose-free options. Although Scoop Shoppe is very popular in its own town, the business owners want to expand its reach to the surrounding areas and through online ordering. The owners of Scoop Shoppe have hired you as a freelance graphic designer to create a social media advertisement that effectively communicates their passion for their brand and their brand story. Directions Create a single-page, 1080 x 1080 pixels, 72 dpi social media advertisement mock-up using Adobe Photoshop. Refer to the design brief, brand style guide (PDF and EPS), and brand photography in the GRA 415 Module Two Client Files linked in the Supporting Materials section to inform your work. Your work on this assignment will be refined and developed further in Module Four. Therefore, to avoid additional workload and lack of client (instructor) feedback in Module Four, please ensure that you complete and submit this assignment on time. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria: Select 1–3 images and/or illustrations that communicate the brand story. Use the images provided in the brand style guide. Consider the following questions to guide your response: Does your chosen imagery communicate the brand story? Will the chosen imagery appeal to the target audience? Does the chosen imagery represent the target audience identified in the design brief? Does the chosen imagery consider ethnic and racial diversity among the target audience? Have you included the company’s logo in the design? Select relevant key words and/or phrases from the provided copy in the design brief. It is up to you to decide which key words and/or phrases to include in the advertisement. Consider the following questions to guide your response: Does your chosen content communicate the brand story? Why did you highlight the key words and/or phrases in the advertisement? Have you ensured that the advertisement does not include any unnecessary content? Do the chosen key words and/or phrases achieve all the goals listed in the design brief? Will the chosen key words and/or phrases appeal to the target audience? Have you included details on how customers can place orders? Design a static button that communicates the client’s intended call to action. Consider the following questions to guide your response: How have you ensured that the call-to-action button is the focal point of the advertisement? Does the call-to-action button stand out from the rest of the design? Have you ensured the text on the call-to-action button is easy to read? Apply principles of design to the advertisement. Ensure the advertisement demonstrates the following design principles: Hierarchy: Apply the visual hierarchy rules defined in the style guide to organize the chosen copy in a logical order. For example, select defined typefaces/fonts for headlines and body text and organize the content to ensure a seamless flow of thoughts. Balance: Ensure you give each element in the design appropriate visual space. Simplicity: Ensure each element adds value to the overall design and is free of unnecessary visual details. Select typography and colors from the brand style guide. Consider the following questions to guide your response: Have you ensured that the color palette is harmonious? Have you ensured the colors have enough contrast between them? Have you ensured the typography follows the headline and body copy usage rules? Have you ensured that all the text is legible and readable? Save the file as JPEG. What to Submit Submit the single-page, 1080 x 1080 pixels social media advertisement mock-up created in Adobe Photoshop and exported as a JPEG file (*.jpg). Write an essay of 250-300 words describing your experience and impressions as yo

Write an essay of 250-300 words describing your experience and impressions as you viewed the Native American Rebel Music videos and listen to the playlist. You may discuss the artists and issues that are featured, how the music helps create connections between people, how the music sounds to you, how traditional music, dress, and practice blends with the modern styles, the lyrics in the songs, the effectiveness of what these artists are doing, what the artists say about what they do, etc. Do any of these artists connect with you through their music or style? Provide specific examples.
You will be graded on coherency of thought, use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and length (250-300 words). Use specific examples from the videos.

1. Explain how skeletal muscle moves bone. Address the following: How does it attach to bone? What is meant by contraction? Do muscles pull or push? 2. Compare and contrast voluntary and involuntary control of skeletal muscle in terms of the stimulus, neural pathway (including all relevant parts of the CNS involved), and response. Explain what the muscle spindle apparatus is, what it detects and whether its involved in the voluntary or involuntary response. 3. Draw a diagram and/or explain in words muscle structure. Begin with an entire muscle from the macroscopic (gross anatomy) and then zoom into the cellular and molecular level. Include and define terms like entire muscle, muscle fibers, neuromuscular junction, sarcolemma, motor end plate, transverse tubules, sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR), sarcoplasm, with actin (thin filaments) vs. myosin (thick filaments) forming sarcomeres. 4. Describe the sliding filament model. Define the term sarcomere, and then explain what happens to the thick and thin filaments, the A band, the I band and the sarcomere. 5. Beginning with the release of neurotransmitter from a somatic motor neuron, describe in words excitation-coupling contraction (the sequence of events that lead to cross-bridge formation within the skeletal muscle). Make sure you include: the name of the neurotransmitter and the type of receptor it binds, describe what happens in the muscle fiber in response, including where the resulting signal spreads, what types specific types of ion channels open and where they are located, from where the ion is released and where it goes, the protein the ion binds, and the effect that has on the other regulatory protein, explain how that leads to cross-bridge formation, and explain what the cross-bridge is and the name of the two contractile proteins involved. 6. Explain in words or create a flow chart of the steps of the cross-bridge cycle. Include the terms: actin, myosin, hydrolyze, ATP, ADP+ Pi, cross-bridge, power stroke. 7. What has to happen for a muscle to relax? 8. What are the roles of ATP in muscle contraction and relaxation? 9. When it comes to the strength of contraction, what is recruitment and why is it important and what are motor units, how does the thickness of the fiber affect contraction strength, and how does initial length of the fiber at rest affect contraction strength? 10. Define and be able to apply the terms concentric, isometric and eccentric contractions. Tip: Try doing each type of contraction and explain to yourself what’s happening with each and how they are different. 11. Name and describe the sources of energy during strenuous exercise (e.g. sprinting/powerlifting)? 12. Name and describe the sources of energy for mild to moderate exercise. 13. Why do we continue to breathe heavily right after exercise? 14. Define the following terms: creatine phosphate, myoglobin, fatigue, atrophy, hypertrophy. 15. Make a table to compare and contrast slow oxidative and fast glycolytic fibers in terms of speed of contraction, time it takes to fatigue, mitochondria, myoglobin, capillaries, and type of cellular respiration, Also be able to predict which type of muscle fiber would be better suited for which type of activities. 16. Make a table to compare and contrast the changes that occur in the muscle with aerobic (endurance) exercise vs. resistance training. 17. What is hypertrophy and what is atrophy? Define each and explain how they relate to muscles. 18. What tends to happen to muscles as we age and why? What can be done to reduce the effects of aging on muscle? 19. Make a table to compare and contrast skeletal muscle vs. cardiac muscle vs. smooth muscle in terms of location, appearance, external regulation, gap junctions, and internal calcium ion binding regulatory protein. What binds calcium in smooth muscle and how is myosin activated in this type of muscle? ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED HANDWRITTEN PLEASE AND THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE SO LONG.

Adolescence DiscussionNo unread replies. No replies.Adolescence is one of the most turbulent and, in many cases, dangerous developmental periods in a person′s life. Adolescence is often described as a period of significant physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional change, marked by rapid development and a quest for identity. Reflecting on your own experiences or observations, discuss how these changes manifested during adolescence. How did the physical changes impact cognitive development and socio-emotional well-being? Can you provide specific examples from your own life or from the lives of people you know that illustrate these interconnections? How did these experiences shape the individual′s identity and relationships with others? What does the science say about the most effective and supportive ways to help adolescents navigate these changes successfully?Book needed : Life Span Development by John W Santrock, 18th Edition
