Over the next four weeks, you will review and analyze a pre-intervention element

Over the next four weeks, you will review and analyze a pre-intervention elementary school asthma database from a community that has four elementary schools. Each week, you will write a short paper describing the role of an informatician in regard to data capture and use within the Public Health Information Management Systems (PHIS) and Public Health Information Network (PHIN). You will explore the data elements, database technologies, analytics, and processes used by an informatician including data capture, scrubbing, coding, warehousing, managing, and reporting of public health information. In Week 5, you will complete a comprehensive term paper and PowerPoint presentation that demonstrates a public health needs assessment using your primary asthma source data. Your paper and presentation should show why an asthma prevention intervention program is needed in the selected community and summarize how you came to your conclusions. The objective of this five-week project is for you to demonstrate the processes used in public health informatics through its application. You will begin your course project by explaining how data is collected, scrubbed, coded, and stored within the PHIS. You will then explain how data is organized in databases, using the asthma data provided below. You will describe the data elements in the spreadsheet and the processes of an informatician by answering the questions below. I WILL download the asthma data for 2013. Note: Use this Excel spreadsheet throughout the course to complete your weekly data analyses and prepare your written assignments as they relate to public health informatics. Your weekly assignments will provide data to support your final term paper to be submitted in Week 5. Based on the data in the spreadsheet, prepare a 3–4-page paper addressing the following questions: Introduction: How is information collected, organized, scrubbed, coded, and entered into the PHIS? Asthma Database Analyses: Describe the structural organization of your database. What is the survey population description? Define pre-intervention Define a database record. How many records are in your database? Define a database field. How many fields are in your database? Define a database field data definition (DD). What is an example in this database of a DD? Based on the data collected, what is the purpose and potential use of this asthma survey data? Summary: From the perspective of an informatician, discuss the asthma database’s key structural components, its organization, and potential uses. Submission Details: Give reasons and examples in support of your responses. Cite all sources using APA format Submit a 3–4-page paper in a Microsoft Word document

Write a Research Question and Conduct Preliminary Research Please develop a research question. You will use this research question throughout this course. Your paper should include a paragraph or two to provide some background about the topic and explain how your research would fit into existing literature on the topic. Also, explain your search method (APUS library, other university or scholarly databases, academic journals, or Google Scholar) to access the most relevant information about your topic. If you are wondering what a search method is, it is a process or technique. It is “how” you go about researching a topic. Typically, you will have criteria (a way of measuring what you find to determine if it is relevant) and you will have search terms (which are specific references to dates, places, events, people, concepts, or authors, that can be used in a search engine). A search method might include examining a wide variety of databases; it might include using the references in books and articles to find more sources. It might include restricting yourself to peer reviewed journal articles and government publications. No matter what paper or what topic, you will always be using some method for searching for the information you need. Then go to the APUS online library and conduct a search for articles in peer-reviewed, academic journals or books about your topic. You can access the Library from the Classroom by selecting Library on the left vertical toolbar. Navigate the online databases and conduct a search based on keywords relating to your topic. Remember when you use the APUS library site, you must sign-in with your student account information. Choose two (2) scholarly articles pertinent to your topic and provide a citation for these articles using APA format. Technical Requirements -Your paper must be at a minimum of 1-1 ½ pages (the Title and Reference pages do not count towards the minimum limit). -Scholarly and credible references should be used. A good rule of thumb is at least 2 scholarly sources per page of content. -Type in Times New Roman, 12 point and double space. -Students will follow the current APA Style as the sole citation and reference style used in written work submitted as part of coursework. -Points will be deducted for the use of Wikipedia or encyclopedic type sources. It is highly advised to utilize books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc. -All submissions will be graded using the assignment rubric.

Your study should focus on one of the analytical techniques discussed in this co

Your study should focus on one of the analytical techniques discussed in this course (psychobiography; operational code analysis; trait analysis; motive analysis; integrative complexity and self monitoring), and a relevant world leader of your choice. Your topic should be appropriately narrow for a graduate-level research paper. In other words, it should provide a “deep dive” or explore a specific “slice” of a larger topic that has not yet been sufficiently studied by previous scholars. Or it should creatively explore a new “intersection” between two or more topics. If you are struggling to find an appropriate topic, consult the research section of the Trefry library web site or consult a research librarian or discuss some ideas with the instructor.
The purpose of the literature review is to summarize the existing body of scholarly studies to-date on your chosen research topic. Literature reviews can be a bit tricky to write. The literature review should be a component of every research paper you write in graduate school. If you are not certain about the purpose, organization, and language of a literature review, you should consult the research section of the Trefry library web site or consult a research librarian or discuss with the instructor. Do not guess!
The literature review should adhere to the following:
Typewritten in 1.5 spaced format in a scholarly writing style, free from errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, diction, and English usage.
Times New Roman 12-point font,
One-inch margins (top, bottom, sides),
Use parenthetical citations and author-date references, not footnotes. Follow the Chicago/Turabian style manual. Refer to the Research page of the Trefry Library for more information.
Total 8-10 pages, plus cover page and references.
For the number of sources and peer-reviewed sources for this assignment, please refer to the rubric.
Your literature review should include the following sections:
1. TITLE PAGE: The title of your paper should be brief but should adequately inform the reader of your general topic and the specific focus of your research. Keywords relating to parameters, population, and other specifics are useful.
2. INTRODUCTION: Explain the purpose and importance of the study, and specifically state your research question. Unless you are experienced and confident in conducting hypotheses-based quantitative studies, you should avoid having a “binary” research question that requires a yes/no answer. Instead, use a research question that allows a more explorative and qualitative study. For example: How was the United States’ participation in Operation X justified in accordance with international laws and norms?
You can find additional information on developing your research question on the Trefry Library’s “Research” web pages, or by consulting a research librarian or having a conversation with the instructor.
3. LITERATURE REVIEW: This section should summarize the existing body of scholarly studies to-date on your chosen research topic, and what you believe are the current “gaps” in scholarly research. This section should be organized into subsections by “themes” of scholarship. This section will eventually be re-used as Section 2 in your final research paper. (Yes, you will be allowed to just copy, paste and update accordingly.)
If you are struggling to find peer-reviewed journal articles on your topic, please remember this: Again, let’s assume you are studying Operation X, and let’s assume that you have selected Walzer’s (1977) just war theory as your theoretical framework. While you might not find a large number of peer-reviewed scholarly articles on Operation X itself, you WILL find good number of peer-reviewed scholarly articles on just war theory.
4. CONCLUSION: Briefly reiterate the purpose of your study, your research question, and the current scholarship “gap” that your research question will help address.
5. REFERENCES:  Your citations and references must be in accordance with the Chicago/Turabian Style Manual. You can find additional guidance on the Chicago/Turabian Style Manual in the Reference section of the Trefry Library website.

Overview The scope of multi-channel ad campaigns is typically much larger than a standalone design project. Therefore, such projects require a robust team of creative people, and the development process is more elaborate. Every campaign must be designed to meet the client’s design needs and the target audience’s design preferences, irrespective of the team structure and development process. In this assignment, you will pitch the capabilities of a design agency to a potential client. Scenario You are a senior designer working at a mid-sized ad agency. A potential client is looking for an agency to design a multi-channel advertising campaign for their pharmacy retail chain. As the senior designer of the team, you are required to pitch your agency’s services to earn the job. The potential client has provided some basic information about their requirements in a client brief. Directions Create a business pitch that provides information on your agency’s team structure, design capabilities, and campaign development process and how your agency can help communicate the client’s message effectively across multiple advertising channels to its target audience. First, complete the Bongo business pitch script linked in the Supporting Materials section and then record your presentation as a video in Bongo. Use the client brief linked in the Supporting Materials section to inform your responses. It is critical that you read all the instructions before starting this assignment. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria: Explain the five key phases of the multi-channel advertising campaign development process. Consider the following questions to guide your response: What are the five key steps of the high-level process that graphic designers are involved in? What is the significance of each phase? What would be the client’s role in each phase? Explain the roles and responsibilities of each member of the creative team. Consider the following questions to guide your response: How many members are there in the core team? What is your role and responsibility in the team? Which members form the core design and development team? Which members play an advisory or supporting role in the team? Which members will be interacting with the client directly? Describe the design capabilities of the team. Include the following required details in your response: Identify the strengths and weaknesses of any five types of advertisements (components) your team can design. Of the five types, describe at least three types of advertisements your team recommends for this client. Explain why. Of the five types, describe at least one type of advertisement that your team does not recommend for this client. Explain why. Describe how the three recommended deliverables will promote the client’s campaign. Consider the following questions to guide your response: Which medium or platform would appeal to which audience? How would your team ensure that the three recommended campaign components can communicate the client’s messaging consistently and effectively? How would the campaign ensure that the client’s messaging will reach most of their target audience? What are the strengths of each type of advertising? Describe how the team will design an effective campaign for the target audience provided in the design brief. Include the following details in your response: Explain how your team would consider the target audience’s design preferences. Explain how your team would make the designs relevant for the different groups of the target audience. Notes Since you are playing the role of a presenter pitching their business to a client, use words and phrases like “we,” “us,” and “our agency.” When speaking of the client, consider using words and phrases like “you,” and “your brand.” Your choice of words will be considered in grading the Articulation of Response criterion. Also, cite at least two sources in your presentation. These could either be from the module resources or from your own independent research. You can either summarize or use direct quotes from your sources. Either way, remember to reference the author and the resource name during your presentation and provide the citations in your Bongo presentation script. What to Submit Submit the following deliverables: Bongo Presentation Script Upload your completed Bongo presentation script as a Word document. Cite at least two sources according to MLA style in the References section. Bongo Video A 5- to 7-minute video You will not be graded on the quality of the video but the content of your responses; consider practicing your video narration (using the script) a few times before recording the video in Bongo If you are not able to record a video, you can submit a PowerPoint presentation, along with the Bongo presentation script, in its place. It is highly recommended that you complete the video if possible, as it will help you prepare for job interviews and client presentations. Note: This activity uses a Bongo rubric. You can view instructor feedback in Bongo by clicking on the activity link. Supporting Materials The following resources support your work on the assignment: Client Brief Use this document to inform your presentation. Bongo Project Video Script Template Use this template to create your Bongo video script.
