In Module Two, you evaluated the success of a company. You assessed its mission and vision statements along with its actions and initiatives. In Module Three, you will explore the significance of performance evaluations using the P-O-L-C framework.
An important part of being an effective manager is the performance evaluation process. The module resources this week discuss some of the complications with using employee metrics. You will also read about making the performance evaluation process more meaningful and effective. After reading the resources, think about your last formal or informal performance evaluation (it could be a school-related evaluation).
In your initial post, describe the evaluation and respond to all the following prompts:
How did you feel walking out of that meeting with your manager or professor?
Was it meaningful and effective?
Did you have a clear understanding of your performance?
Did you understand your goals and objectives?

For this assignment, due in Module Three, you will submit a 1- to 2-page document that will provide a profile of your chosen successful company. This milestone will serve as a rough draft and must cover the six critical elements described below. You are expected to provide a minimum of two to three sentences for each of the six critical elements: mission and vision, strategic management plan, organizational culture, decision making, principle of ethics, and human resources. Instructor feedback should be applied to your Final Project One submission.
You must select a company from the list of suggested companies provided in the Final Project One Successful Companies and Search Terms  document.
Directions
Write a 1- to 2-page paper that will provide a profile of your chosen successful company.
Specifically, the following rubric criteria must be addressed:
Profile of a Successful Company
Explain how the company has communicated its mission and vision within the organization. In other words, explain how the company demonstrates the importance of the mission and vision to employees and other stakeholders.
Identify how the company has successfully executed its strategic management plan. Justify your response. Include a specific example of a time when this management plan led the company to success.
Describe how management has helped to positively influence the organizational culture within this company. Use some specific examples, actions, or strategies that show how management has positively influenced organizational culture.
Explain management’s pivotal role in the decision-making process within this company. Be sure to include specific decisions made by management based on principles of ethics. Discuss specific decision-making models used by the company that may have helped the company be successful.
Evaluate how the use of the functions of management within this company has adhered to the principles of ethics. Include how using the functions of management while adhering to the principles of ethics may have impacted the employees of the company.
Explain how this company strategically uses human resources to develop its personnel. Provide insight into how this use of human resources has enhanced the company’s business processes.
