Instructions:
Your objective is to showcase and educate me and the class about this vital topic/issue/theme through your final project by the prompt below.
Final Exam Prompt:
Apply the Head, Heart, and Hand framework to analyze a problem or harm we’ve examined since the midterm. Follow these steps to develop a comprehensive analysis:
**Head:**
Examine the problem critically by gathering essential information. Identify the data, research, and information necessary to understand the gravity of the issue. Utilize class materials as the primary source, and supplement with external research if needed. Ensure a thorough exploration of the problem’s depth and the harm it has inflicted. Make the case for why this is an urgent and important issue to examine.
**Heart:**
Clearly communicate the importance of the problem in a manner that connects with the audience on a personal or affective level. Describe why showing concern for this issue is essential and explore how it influences community relationships, whether on a local or global scale. Provide details about the individuals or groups directly impacted by the problem, and support your explanation with evidence. Delve into the effects on communities, outlining the personal, psychological, economic, professional, or other dimensions through which this problem affects them. Highlight the human side of the issue to encourage critical empathy and understanding.
**Hand:**
Propose actionable solutions to address the identified problem or harm. Consider both individual and collective actions, ranging from small, everyday initiatives to larger-scale interventions such as laws, policies, or protests. Provide detailed and original insights, avoiding mere repetition of textbook content. Encourage a creative and critical analysis of potential solutions to showcase a thoughtful understanding of the issue.
