In this milestone, you will address your chosen issue, risk factors, impact, com

In this milestone, you will address your chosen issue, risk factors, impact, community need, program, and stakeholder involvement. These aspects compose the Public Health Issue portion of the final project. As you complete this milestone, consider the following questions:
WHICH I CHOSE SMOKING
Did you describe the public health issue that you selected, basing your description on principles of community health education?
Did you describe the risk factors for the health issue? For example, is there a population that is more likely to face this issue? Or are there behaviors that typically lead to the issue? How might social determinants of health impact the population and influence adaptation of targeted behavior change? Your response should be based on principles of community health education.
Did you discuss how the issue impacts the community? For instance, does the issue affect public safety in the community? Does the issue affect the local tax rate? Your response should be based on principles of community health education.
Did you explain why the issue is a need in the community? In other words, why should this issue be addressed? Support your explanation with relevant data and research.
Did you illustrate, concisely and broadly, how this issue could be addressed in the community? In other words, provide a brief, broad description of a community health education program that could be developed to address the issue. For example, you might develop a nutrition program to educate the community on making healthier diet choices.
Did you address how the stakeholders you are presenting to will be involved in addressing the issue? For instance, you might ask grocery store owners to donate healthy snacks to an afterschool program, or you might ask the community center director to provide meeting space for a support group.

Very often, “Dr. Google” is used for information.  In some instances, the information provided by a Google search is correct, but in other instances, it is not.  For this assignment, you have the opportunity to support/refute information on a web page using a current research study (primary source).
For this assignment, you will find 1 web page and 1 primary source (research study) journal article related directly to sports nutrition.  The web page should be intended for the general public, not professionals.
If you are not sure if the web page is directed to professionals or to the general public, then err on the side of caution and locate another web page.
The article should be published within the last 10 years. The article will be used to support or refute (your choice) the information on the web page.
You will answer the 3 questions below and upload a Word file (.doc or .docx) titled “Last name-assignment.docx” (for example, Reuter- assignment (.5 points).  You should also have your name at the top of the file. (.5 points)

**In the Week 1 Assignment, you were provided the info below for a complete citation:
