you will use the information you’ve gathered to conduct a library search. Think about what topic within the broad category of the history of nuclear weapons/nuclear energy you might like to choose for your research paper (don’t worry, you aren’t locked into this topic yet – this is just to get some practice). Once you have a topic idea, think about some keywords or search terms you might use to find scholarly secondary sources on that topic. Use those keywords or search terms to look for secondary sources in the library databases.
Once you’ve found one example of a secondary source on your topic, post a citation for it here in Chicago/Turabian format. Then, discuss your search process in locating this secondary source. Was it challenging or straightforward? Did you learn anything interesting along the way? What keywords or search terms did you use? How effective were the keywords or search terms you developed, and what strategies could you employ to make your search even more effective?
