The research proposal should have an introduction where the chosen topic is introduced and a clear context is provided. Explain its significance to your discipline and highlight the key issue or problem you will be addressing. Include a research question and thesis statement. The research question should be precise, focused, and specific enough to be answered within the scope of your research but broad enough to generate meaningful analysis. Formulate a well-defined thesis statement that succinctly articulates your central argument related to your research question.
