Prompt: Write an essay that explains Mphahlele’s developing political consciousn

Prompt: Write an essay that explains Mphahlele’s developing political consciousness and his attitude toward South African educational and religious institutions.
The essay needs to have an introduction, a conclusion, and at least 4-5 body paragraphs. Make sure to use at least 1-2 evidence (quotes, paraphrases) in each main body paragraph and do the in-text citations (indicate the page number and chapter). Please don’t write a summary. Make a thesis, have multiple claims, include much evidence, and analyze it. I have already attached the book; if it’s too messy, then you can look for it online. Also, please don’t use AI. Lastly, I will give a generous tip if the quality of the essay is top-notched.

Major Paper #3—-ALSO COUNTS AS the Final Examination—Analytical Research Project with 2000 words (40%)
This essay asks you to choose an interesting, worthwhile, and arguable subject. You will need to develop and execute a solid research plan.  Please evaluate resources and synthesize opposing evidence or objections. Defend the importance of engaging this particular issue.  Make it appropriate for an academic audience.  You must have at least 5 scholarly sources for this essay.
******You must have at least 5 scholarly sources for this essay. Scholarly sources MUST come from the online library database and do not include .com sites.  Please do not use .gov, org, or .edu either.  I am requiring you to use scholarly research from an actual collegiate database in this 1302 class.
What this means:
This essay should be no less than 2000 words and no more than 2,250 words.
Please (on your own) find a topic of interest to you that you would like to argue.  By argue, I mean, the purpose of this paper will be to take a position (for or against—not both) the topic and argue your line of reason.  You will need to include research to back up your points from the scholarly database.
This assignment lets you choose ANY topic you want to argue, you do not need to find a topic through an article.  You simply research a relevant topic that is meaningful and argue your case.  The point is to provide your viewpoints and your research to back you up in an intelligent and cohesive manner.
I would recommend that before you write your paper, you check the database and make sure you will be able to find 5 quality sources….if so, then I would proceed, if not, I would find a new topic.
Once you find what you want to argue, you will write an essay with 2000-2250 words.
Follow MLA (see videos posted in “Announcement.”)
Five sources from the database will be required.  You MUST use these sources IN YOUR PAPER either by direct quote or paraphrase.  You will need to in-text cite them and you will also need a Works Cited page.
Works Cited pages DO NOT COUNT as part of your word count.

This is a FINAL ESSAY ASSIGNMENT. PLEASE FULLY READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND DOCUMEN

This is a FINAL ESSAY ASSIGNMENT. PLEASE FULLY READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND DOCUMENTS PROVIDED.  DO NOT PROVIDE A WORKS CITED PAGE, IT IS NOT NEEDED.
For this particular assignment it requires you to read 2 separate readings and answer 1 question to discuss as part of a thesis developed paper.
*Please read the document “Lorde Reading” and  the document “Malesic Reading” BEFORE DOING THE ASSIGNMENT.
*After you have read the readings, you can begin the essay. I have selected the question “In today’s world, does finding one’s truth add value to the human experience?” You can find the set of questions in the screenshot provided. If you feel you will have more to write about from another question, please let me know first. USE YOUR OWN COMMON SENSE, when writing the essay and you must also quote each author in MLA style. DO NOT WRITE THE ESSAY AS A SUMMARY OR DISCUSSION ABOUT EACH OF THE READINGS. THE ESSAY IS TO BE DEVELOPED AROUND THE QUESTION SELECTED.
(When quoting each author, the quote must also include the page number from the reading)
The Introduction needs to include the lead-in, the tie-in, and the thesis statement. The “short academic essay structure” document will provide you with an example for reference. Please look over the entire document as it references how to write other parts of the essay such as body, conclusion etc… Each body paragraph should have a topic sentence, with supporting details and a concluding sentence. Finally you come to your conclusion, the reinstatement of the thesis statement and then the final thought.
PLEASE READ ALL DOCUMENTS ATTACHED, SOME DOCUMENTS WILL GIVE YOU A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW THE ASSIGNMENT SHOULD BE STRUCTURED, AS WELL AS EXAMPLES GIVEN. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ANSWER THE QUESTION IN YOUR OWN COMMON SENSE, AND NOT WRITTEN AS A SUMMARY OF THE READINGS. THANK YOU I LOOK FOWARD TO YOUR ASSISTANCE.

Select a possible subject for your review—“a performance, a book, a website, a c

Select a possible subject for your review—“a performance, a book, a website, a consumer product, a film, whatever” (p. 241)—and use your writing journal assignment this week to uncover what you really feel and want to say about the subject of your review. Take seriously what our text says on page 243: “The best inquiry-based pojects begin when you’re not quite sure what you think and want to explore a topic to find out.” To help you with that, respond to each of the questions in the “Talking it Through” activity on pages 250-251.
Be sure to write for a few minutes in response to each question. Your journal should be at least 400 words in your journal this week.
Do NOT answer the last question by saying something like, “Everyone’s entitled to his or her own opinion. People are free to like or not like what I’m reviewing.” This is where the aggressiveness must come in. Explain why those who disagree with you are wrong. What are they missing? If you don’t yet know what to say in response to those who disagree, acknowledge that honestly. Before you write your first draft, you’ll need to figure out what to say in response to those who see things differently. If you can’t, then maybe you need to change your mind about your review subject.

What Do You Have to Do? You will need to conduct research on your chosen crimina

What Do You Have to Do?
You will need to conduct research on your chosen crimina

What Do You Have to Do?
You will need to conduct research on your chosen criminal behavior using a combination of 7-10 resources (e.g., textbook, books, internet sites, sociological journals, news magazine articles, videos, DVD’s, interviews, etc.) Each slide will include an MLA citation at the bottom. After you have conducted your research, you will analyze your information using the following questions as a guide:
Provide a definition of the criminal behavior. On the same slide discuss how prevalent this crime is in our society, be sure to include statistics.
Who are the victims? Do they fit a particular profile in terms of age, class, race, education, etc?
Who are the perpetrators? Do they fit a particular profile in terms of age, class, race, education etc?
How do members of society perceive the criminal behavior? For example, many Americans feel that illegal file sharing is a harmless crime even though it causes $422 million dollars in damages each year.
What is the cause of this criminal behavior? In other words, why do people engage in the criminal behavior? (Note: there may be several causes, just list the top 4 causes)
Find a recent (last 7 years) notable example of your chosen criminal behavior from the media. For example, if you chose cybercrime, there was the Equifax data breach where many social security numbers were compromised.
What major laws or policies have been put in place to help curb the criminal behavior? What specific penalties are there for the criminals involved in the illicit behavior? ( Feel free to mention any proposed legislation or policies that have yet to be passed)
Have the laws or policies you discussed in question 8, worked to reduce criminal activity? Why or Why Not?
Do you think this criminal behavior should be criminalized or decriminalized? And do you have any recommendations for sentencing?
Include 2 slides that analyze the criminal behavior from two different criminological theories. (So far you’ve learned about Rational Choice Theory and Trait Theory) Use one slide per theory.
You will then organize and submit your information in outline/bulleted format on a PowerPoint (11 – 15 pages) or other slidesharing presentation format. Don’t forget to include your MLA citation at the bottom of each slide.
