Choose two different experiences in which to engage/participate. The experiences

Choose two different experiences in which to engage/participate. The experiences are ones in which you are a “cultural insider” and one in which you are a “cultural novice.” Students determine the experience. For example, you may choose to visit a coffee shop, church, community event, etc.
During your visit, you will engage in whatever cultural activity occurring and take detailed notes on the experience. The goal of the project is to understand what it is/means to be a “cultural outsider” and to learn more about the space in which you are already a “cultural insider.”
Make sure you read the detailed directions and review the attached rubric.

In this short paper, you will analyze a case study of a district that has implem

In this short paper, you will analyze a case study of a district that has implemented effective online and connected technologies.
Overview
Many districts have used different technology to improve their offered education. The U.S. Department of Education Office of Educational Technology (OET) website includes different case studies showing how districts have used innovation. Find one case study and analyze its use of technology. In some cases, the educators have applied relevant theory that will help inform flexible and adaptive instructional decisions. In other cases, educators may be ahead of a theory. Often, the use of emerging technologies precedes validation by research.
On the Office of Educational Technology (OET) website located in your Readings and Resources, you will find detailed profiles of districts that have designed and implemented effective online and connected technologies. Each profile provides information about the district’s approach. It also includes key action steps and lessons learned.
Use the search tool to browse the website for stories of innovation happening in schools across the nation.
Prompt
For this paper, select one of the case studies to analyze.
Be sure your paper includes these critical elements:
Describe how the district addresses the complex learning situations of today’s students through the combination of experimentation with emerging technologies for professional development and changes in instructional strategies.
Analyze if the case is already supported by a theory. This theory could be one you have studied in this course, such as connectivism.
Analyze the positive change that the experimentation in your case causes. If the case describes professional development, explain how that can impact positive change.

You are required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite. A link to the LopesWrite technical support articles is located in Class Resources if you need assistance.
Directions:
Part 1
Present a revised version (1,750-2,050 words total) of the paper “The Education Pendulum” that makes improvements in the caliber of the writing and incorporates instructor feedback regarding content and writing. Include the following in your submission:
A reflection (250-300 words) that provides a bulleted list of the changes you made to the paper and discusses your revision process including how you incorporated your instructor’s feedback into the revised version. Similar to an abstract, this section will receive its own page following the title page and preceding the introduction to the paper.
The revised paper that incorporates instructor feedback; clarifies the thesis statement and solidifies supporting arguments; edits for grammar, spelling, and punctuation; adjusts word choice to display professional and scholarly language; and adjusts sentence structure for improved readability.
Part 2
Write an additional 1,250-1,500 words in which you address current best practices in education. This section should flow naturally from the revised paper. In your paper, include the following:
A research-supported discussion of current best practices in education. In your discussion, propose reasons why research-supported best practices are often not adopted by school leaders and teachers.
A research-supported discussion analyzing the best practices and their contribution to education.
A research-supported discussion of the future trends in education and what you, as an educational leader are doing and will do to prepare for these future trends. How does the phenomenon of the education pendulum influence your preparation?
Lastly when you add APA references 7th edition that should be separate. Do not include those in total word count. I have also added my paper with the feedback for part 1.
