1) Analyze that rubric and discuss the positive and negative points of it. Would you use it in your classroom? How could you modify it to make it more effective?
Points to remember:
Rubrics should…
Avoid using subjective or vague criteria such as “interesting” or “creative”; instead, outline objective indicators that would fall under these categories.
The criteria must clearly differentiate one performance level from another.
Assign a numerical scale to each level.
2) What are the core tenants of Domain 3 (Instruction) in Danielson (Danielson Framework for Learning (2013) Download Danielson Framework for Learning (2013)  and how do they connect to the Touro Candidate Learning Outcomes (CLO Download Touro Candidate Learning Outcomes (CLO)?
How do they inform you in your own instructional/assessment planning for student achievement?
3)  Examine Domain 1 of the Danielson Framework for Learning (2013) Download Danielson Framework for Learning (2013)pp. 9-27 and think about your lesson selection for your formative assessment.
How and where does your lesson plan selection meet (or not meet) the quality descriptors within this domain?
What type of impact do you anticipate your lesson having on student achievement? Be specific.

CHAPTER 1 PAGE 1
Actually discuss the leadership
structure of the middle school.
George
M. Hampton Middle School is a public magnet school serving the Woodbridge
community in Virginia. It is in a big suburban environment, and the students
attend Grades 6–8. “It shall be the mission of George M. Hampton Middle School to
holistically educate all students in a positive educational environment. We
will challenge our students to reach high standards and assist them in evolving
into lifelong learners and responsible, open-minded citizens of the world (Hampton
mission statement,
2023). The student population of George M. Hampton Middle School mirrors its
diversity initiative, with 93.3% of its students from minoritarian backgrounds.
George M. Hampton Middle School’s student body comprises 59.4% Hispanic, 23.7%
Black, 6.7% White, 6.7% Asian, 3.4% two races or more, and 0.1% Pacific
Islander (U.S. News, 2023). George
M. Hampton Middle is a magnet school consisting of 921 students, with
49% female and 51% male students, and 85% considered economically
disadvantaged. The school employs 79 full-time teachers, ensuring a
student-teacher ratio of 12:1, higher than the district average. Moreover, the
students can access three full-time school counseling specialists who provide
support services (George M. Hampton Middle School, n.d.). The school’s
leadership team is composed of administration members who are passionate about
students and, therefore, continuously drive toward student success and
well-being. The school implements many programs and services, including
tutorials, sports, and counseling, which align with the diverse requirements of
the student population.
CHAPTER 3 PAGE
·      Be clear on the rationale for using the survey. That
would be under the “Survey Procedures” section.
·      After you mention your 15 instructors, be clear on the
rationale for using those participants. You need to include a citation to
support your data analysis procedure for the survey. Per the checklist, you
also need to include a citation to the Claxton and Michael (2023) textbook in
this section.
Survey Procedures
The second data
collection method for this research will be a survey. This approach is used to
explore possible solutions to the low math test scores. Participant
determination, survey data collection, and post-survey data investigation are
all included in the strategy (Tomaszewski et al., 2020).
Data Collection and
Analysis
The sampling method implemented in this study will be purposeful sampling,
which guarantees the inclusion of diverse opinions and experiences among 15
instructors who will be chosen to participate in the study at George M. Hampton
Middle School (Tomaszewski et al., 2020). Information will be collected by creating a web instrument to
generate a closed-ended, 5-point Likert scale. The survey URL, consent to
participate, the deadline for completing the survey, and instructions on how to
fill it in will be included in the email sent to the participants. Settings are
covered, as are individuals with impaired abilities. Based on that, answers to
each question will be reported on a scale ranging from Always to Never.
Additionally, average scores given by all participants for every question will
be examined. This analysis will serve the primary purpose of understanding the
present status of math teaching in the school and determining which areas need
to be improved. The following demographic questions and survey prompts will be
administered to participants (see Appendix C).
PAGE 39 CHAPTER 3
Per the checklist, you will need a
citation for the Claxton and Michael (2023) textbook in this section.
Technically, you are addressing everything on the checklist. But, I think the Methodologist
is going to want a little bit more about what you will be looking at. Just a
sentence or two more to discuss what you’re going to analyze (test scores and
attendance rates it looks like
Documents Procedures
The last data
collection technique for this research will be a document analysis. This
strategy contemplates how records could solve the problem of low mathematics
test scores at George M. Hampton Middle School. The records summarize each
student’s academic history comprising all required state exams. Ndukwe and
Daniel (2020) posited that documents are the basis for the facts that direct
the instruction after it has been clearly presented. The Virginia Department of
Education’s website provided insight into historical data for the last 4 years
(2020–2023), which includes participation records for the SOL tests and their
scores. The quantitative results of this report survey are noteworthy as they
extend beyond student performance on the SOL exams. The data attained via this
method will be incorporated as a trend chart (Ndukwe & Daniel, 2020). The
trend chart provides a visual representation of the trends and patterns in the
data, thus showing how test scores and attendance rates changed over the 4 years.
Along with the data from the study, the interviews, and the document analysis,
this approach will allow the researcher to get all the information on what
causes the low math tests at George M. Hampton Middle School.

Observation 1: Classroom Climate and Culture
Upload a 15-20 minute YouTube video clip already on YouTube that allows you to provide feedback to the teacher to help foster a respectful, nurturing, and positive learning environment for that specific class of students. The clip can be from the lesson’s beginning, middle, or end. The video must include a teacher and students in the classroom. Be sure to preview the Classroom Climate and Culture Rubric below for the indicators to look for before beginning your feedback.  You will not submit the Climate and Culture rubric use this for indicators.
Once you upload your clip, complete the comments and rubric on your own for your submission. You must have AT LEAST one comment AND one MARKER SET indicator for each minute of the video. Markers sets are customizable, color-coded labels that make giving feedback faster and easier. When completing the rubric, you must complete every comment box with specific TIME-STAMPED examples from the video as evidence. Please remember your feedback to this teacher is about the “Climate and Culture” Rubric.
Once completed, upload a pdf. of your comments by attaching the document in the COMMENTS SECTION OF THIS ASSIGNMENT IN THE GRADE BOOK.
(Because you are submitting your video through this assignment in GoReact, you cannot attach your pdf here)

With your mentor teacher’s permission, implement at least one of the learning centers you created in Topic 3 with the class or a small group. Record the students’ assessment results.
After your implementation, make arrangements with your mentor teacher to administer a full lesson with a small group of students in the Topic 6 clinical field experience.
Discuss the assessment results from the math center implementation with your mentor to determine what standards should be included in the lesson in Topic 6.
Spend any remaining field experience hours observing the class and assisting the mentor teacher with instructional support.
In a 500-750 word summary, reflect on the implementation of at least one of the learning centers and address the following:
Explain the implementation of the instructional strategies and how they reinforced math concepts to young children.
Analyze students’ assessment outcomes and describe the patterns and gaps in learning.
Explain how the assessment data would guide future planning and instruction to meet the needs of individual students and promote student growth.
Discuss how you can implement what you have learned in your future teaching practice.
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.

You are providing a professional development workshop on the critical reflection

You are providing a professional development workshop on the critical reflection process to your colleagues. To provide a good workshop, you need to demonstrate how to effectively utilize critical thinking. To prepare for the workshop, you will create a handout to share as an exemplary application of the critical thinking process.
For this assignment, design a 1-page handout:
Choose a topic from the Issues in Education infographic. I have already chosen the topic and provided the sources.
Use the steps for the critical thinking process from the Critical Thinking infographic. In the handout, include the following:
Introduction to the issue
Questions you have about the issue
Summary of at least two articles related to the issue
Solutions based on the articles presented
Explanation of how critical reflection was applied to analyze the chosen issue in education.
The handout should follow APA format related to charts, graphics, and design. The handout should be no longer than 1 page to allow you to present the critical concepts and ideas explored in this unit. A title page is needed as well
