First (Part I: Title), summarize the research in a literature review on teacher leadership in general. You may want to take historical perspective, or you may choose an aspect of the current state of teacher leadership, or you may want to explore teacher leadership across the globe or a combination of vantage points. (Fact)
Second(Part II: Title), you will narrow your research and summarize GA’s Teacher Leadership programming to include the 7 Standards and certification requirements (to include the GACE). How many levels of advanced degrees are offered by state universities in GA? Do all GA counties pay teachers at the higher step for advanced degree even if they stay in the classroom full-time with a Teacher Leadership advanced degree or endorsement? (Fact)
Third(Part II: Title), summarize your research/findings and provide your viewpoint on the state of teacher leadership on a national and state level. What insight can you share? Areas of strength, opportunities for change/improvement. Does teacher leadership support the teacher pipeline – what does the data say, what do you think? (Evidence-based Opinion)
