20 Years from Now I See Myself: Essay

Where will I locate myself twenty years from now? Thinking about this question gave me a danger to analyze my goals, wishes, and ambitions.

In 20 years, I see myself as a qualified specialist with a good educational background. I work as a nurse, doing the job that I wanted all my life. I have a top job, and assist my family to have a higher life, I purchase them what they want and need.

20 sides from now, I see myself in a relationship with a man I am deeply in love with, who has been there for me through all my ups and downs, as I have been through his. He is a successful, devoted, sensitive, and gentle man, exactly the one I have always pictured in my imagination. I see myself as a good wife to him, as well as a wonderful mother to our children. Our family travels all over the world and visits the places of our dreams.

Ten years from now, I am successfully fulfilling my role as a mother, wife, and, moreover, as a daughter to my parents. As a daughter, I repay all the sacrifices of my parents. As a mom of my kids, I supply all their wants and needs in existence, and I train them how to do properly in life. And ultimately as a wife, I love my husband unconditionally, help him, and aid him.

To make this aspiration and goals happen, first and foremost, I would be high quality and confident, due to the fact that having self-confidence is critical if you design to boost in any component of your life. For the purpose that people who possess self-confidence are inclined to be more positive because they entice more positivity into their lives. So, self-confident humans tend to be average happy, and fulfilled individuals. The second focal point ahead and visualizing my dream, it can be convenient to see how far you have to go and sense discouraged. Especially when you have inevitable hindrances. Third, I would be determined and work hard, because, in my opinion, hardworking capacity to try and to ignore something or each person that can be a distraction. If you decide to make your aspirations and desires happen, hard work won’t be something that you will avoid. Hard work will be something you would love to do in order to reach your goal, this is due to the fact your determination. And lastly, trust the Lord.

Essay about Myself (500 Words)

I believe my current skill set and traits would be perfect for this position as a Mod at Soro’s. To begin, I possess the skill of being very hard-working and determined. I always try to do everything to the best I possibly can, I will never give up until I’m positive that the outcome is what I expected and better. That’s a trait I can proudly say about myself and I will always stand by it! Secondly, I am very organized. I think that I’m good with time management and keeping track of certain things.

My friends have also praised me for this skill as I always hand in assignments on time and make sure I’m doing the right things on certain days. To end with, I have fairly good communication skills. I would say that I am strong with utilizing grammar and I can have a conversation with others without hesitating and speaking clearly. In conclusion, I am a hard worker, I am good with organization and I have strong communication skills. I think all the traits I mentioned will be helpful as a part of the Moderation team. Being hardworking is a trait needed in every single job. I think by having this trait you can trust me to give others sufficient and or extra results every time expect to do something.

Being organized should be helpful especially in the Moderation team as being a part of it requires being strong in organizing. I believe if you are not a good organizer then being a Mod would not be a strong fit as you have to be organized with spacing out your time, and meeting requirements. To finish, being a good communicator is necessary to have a job. If others can not communicate ideas correctly then there is no point. As mentioned before, all the skills/traits I have should be helpful for this position and I think that my traits/skills may be stronger compared to other applicants. As a normal human being, I have a lot of weaknesses that affect my everyday life and which could possibly affect Soro’s as a moderation team member. To start off with, I lack a lot of self-confidence and can be too self-critical. Over my life, I have been constantly compared to other children such as my cousins or friends. I always felt very imperfect and thought of it as a bad thing. Because of me constantly being brought down, I tried to fix myself to what other people would be happy with. Now, I critique myself too much and lack a lot of confidence. I’m trying to overcome this by bringing myself up and accepting myself for who I am. This may affect Soros because I’d keep changing my mind and affecting others’ actions because I’m not sure about myself. However, I feel as if I have really improved in prioritizing myself and I think I’m close to fully overcoming this weakness. In addition to that, I can be too competitive.

Thinking about myself before considering a team. I know this is a bad habit but I want to be completely honest and I have seen a lot of progress. I’m trying to listen more and speak less, think about other people’s ideas before saying my own. This may affect Soros because others may not be happy that I seem like I’m competing against them when we’d all be a team. I’m trying my best to overcome these weaknesses and I think soon enough I should fully overcome them.

My Passion for Business: Essay

My passion for business stems from my love of reading. I started reading books written by the Shark Tank cast and then books written by the Forbes 400. From then on, I continued to gain knowledge and found more ways to learn through books, articles, magazines, and journals to get up-to-date information about my passion. I became fascinated with how these business magnates started their ventures, and as a result, became motivated enough to start something for myself. Gradually, I planned to launch a brand that can facilitate everyone while also bearing low costs, like a virtual online business. Alongside, there are days when I am calculating the cost or amount I need to put in for my startup.

One lesson I have learned in life is that anything that appears easy is the complete opposite. Passion requires effort and hard work. No matter if I fail, I will learn and do better. Even if it requires failing and trying over and over again. I will stay dedicated and focused on my goal. Failure is completely worth it as it helps me become better and gain experience. Rejection is just a part of the journey, and with an optimistic approach, I believe I can mold this failure to success by working harder.

I love spending time with positive people who radiate positive energy and help you learn. Get advice from them and insights from the experts who share the same passion to freshen up my perspective and develop a concrete vision of what I need to do to make things happen.

I consider myself brave enough to take risks and am very open to constructive criticism that helps me develop as a person and advance towards becoming a better entrepreneur. To achieve this, I plan to create little goals that keep me motivated and help me succeed in launching a brand. The foremost challenge that I face is having a location for my startup. I quickly realized that the big challenge is actually building a clientele. I have yet to figure out an effective way to market my brand. It turns out that the struggle begins by sending flyers directly to people’s homes and managing a website professionally.

Throughout my life, my passion and dedication have allowed me to excel in my activities and education, and for this reason, I believe that the skill of perseverance is necessary to succeed. During high school, I committed to academic excellence by studying hard and not procrastinating, to eliminate laziness. Likewise in any phase of life, my passion to achieve great things in life keeps me going. I know good things take time and hard work but it will lead me to experience more empowering traits in work and life.

I realized that to achieve something, you have to make some sacrifices along the way. Like your social time. I gladly give up sleep, leisure, and pleasure time like TV, games, and socializing and dedicate it to learning new skills. I am aware that there is always room for improvement. That is why I want to work hard to learn new things, gain new experiences, and be the best version of myself.

With time I comprehended that I cannot get clients without having some form of direct social engagement as speaking face-to-face with people develops trust in them. So I am planning to host seminars that would demonstrate the kind of brand I have and target the right audience. Through this plan, I would create jobs for others. I know that to achieve my goal I have to deliver genuine value, something that people feel they require.

However, it is equally important to be able to find a healthy balance while simultaneously challenging myself to be better, I do things that intrigue me and motivate me to become the better version of myself and make me feel that I am on the right path in life and gives me hope for a happy and exciting future.

Finally, I learned that ideas along with their execution could help me achieve my passion for launching my brand, as passion is the key to success and real leaders are ordinary people with extraordinary determination.

My Adoption Story: Personal Narrative Essay

I was born on Feb 22, 2003. I came into the world at Kaweah Delta Hospital. Before I was even born, my biological mother knew she could not take care of me. She decided to give me up for adoption. She already had to support one child and couldn’t help me. My welfare was more important than her selfish ambitions to maintain the appearance of a good mother. In order not to become attached, she had predetermined to not bond with me physically or emotionally. With this, she decided it was best that I bond with someone who could mother and take care of me.

This moment was the most significant event of my whole adoption story! I was now officially part of a kind, loving family who wanted to take care of me! There was no more worrying about my welfare or if my biological mom would change her mind and ask to take me back. I was part of a stable family. Because she decided to make the right decision, she affected many people. She provided me with a home and care, and she provided two people with a child that they thought they could never have.

From my perspective, I am currently very happy. This was made possible by my biological mom’s first thoughtful decision to keep me alive. That decision is forever ingrained in my mind and heart. She chose life, and because of that, I can pursue a career, follow my dreams, and start my own family. Her second decision provided another family with the opportunity to experience the joy of having and rearing a child in a better environment. I now have the exact opposite. I acquired many loving friends, an excellent education, with support for all of my endeavors. I was raised with love by two people who care for me and always support me.

Right around this time is when my parents got divorced, and I was in about the 4th to 6th grade. So at this time, I could not fully comprehend their divorce, so I did not feel sad. I didn’t have any emotion towards the situation. As I was promoted to middle school, I made a lot of new friends. I realized just about 95% of all the kids there also had divorced parents, and very few kids had their parents still together in a happy marriage, which made me feel a sense of normalization in a way.

Do I get asked a lot about how is being adopted different? Well, I don’t know who my birth parents are. I wonder about that. Not because it makes me sad, but because I am curious about who they are or what they’re like, so I wonder. Well, maybe it makes me a little bitter. It’s kind of like a missing piece of me. My mom told me I have a brother three years older than me, and that’s about all I know. How much does all that matter? I’m not too sure.

During middle school, I came to comprehend their divorce more and more and began wondering about who my birth parents are. I remember I had heard I had a biological brother four years older than me whom I knew nothing about. I grew more curious about what they looked like or if they even knew about me or not. As I transitioned into high school, I kept wondering what my biological parents really looked like or even just their names. However, I had nothing of reference to try and find anything about them.

Being adopted is different. It can be confusing trying to figure out ‘why me’. On the other hand, ‘lucky me’. I am different. Best of all, I am loved for who I am. Having a family that cares about you is incredible. I have some friends that don’t have the kind of love and acceptance I have. Adoption is about me and my family and how lucky we all are to have each other. So, to kids waiting to be matched, I say get the best possible match and then work at it. Nothing is perfect. But having a forever family is the best.

Narrative Essay on Strengths and Weaknesses of a Person

My teamwork experience from this course was overall positive and I believe I have learned an extraordinary amount about myself and how to work collaboratively with other personalities. My teamwork experience allowed me to focus on self-awareness of my own strengths and weaknesses in a group environment; my strengths being my collaborative nature and openness to new ideas as well as my weaknesses being my lack of time management and sometimes stubborn nature. As well as this I have developed my awareness of others including their needs and wants in a group setting allowing me to work on my weaknesses and strengthen my strengths as well as all of us feeling as though we fit in, I felt as though I was a part of something.

Time management was another lesson gained, whereby I do not want to let anyone down, so I, therefore, manage to get my part of the teamwork completed on time and to a high caliber. I learned that goal setting was an integral part of teamwork and constantly establishing goals for the week allowed us to work towards something which definitely encourages me to get the job done efficiently. I have also learned about friendships making my first group of university friends through these weeks of teamwork and collaboration. Which I am most grateful for.

The fact that I have been able to make friends with people from all different areas of Sydney, from all different backgrounds and walks of life. This has definitely expanded my world and my mind, and I am content to call my teammates my new friends. My teamwork experience has taught me to trust and to not be afraid to express ideas that may not necessarily be correct as we all made it a point to listen and help each other when necessary. Our team had the ability to overcome difficulties, again through collaboration and thought, though there is always room for improvement. My experience with my group was overall fantastic and aided in communication and teamwork building as being in a group forced me to remain on time and prepared.

Coming into the group I had fears that we would not get along or our ideas would be too different that there would be conflict, I was pleasantly surprised, and even through differences in ideas or opinions, we managed to be understanding and compromise. These lessons would be able to assist me in my future career as I would like to own my own company I believe that through great teamwork skills, management skills will follow as all thoughts and feelings are noted and assessed and that is what makes an effective manager through delegation of roles, communication, and effective collaboration.

Essay on My Hobby

A hobby is an activity, habit, or favorite choice of a person who regularly performs in leisure time for pleasure and enjoyment. Everyone has different hobbies that he or she would like to do to have fun or relax. They can be physical activities such as jogging, soccer, swimming, or cricket. They also can be mental activities such as reading, watching movies, playing with computers, traveling, etc., and they depend on everyone’s personality.

For me, football is my hobby because it is a part of my life and I can’t live without it. Living in a country like Germany, football is the king of sport. That’s why it is not surprising that my childhood has grown with the soccer ball until today. My mom told me that I liked to kick the ball and I had a lot of fun when I had an age of only about three years. Since that time, playing football is my favorite sport, and it is my hobby when I am free. It’s interesting and surprising, especially the feeling when I score a goal or when my teammates do it. That feeling fills me as if I just filed something very important. Playing football also helps me relax and have confidence when I have stress and frustration. For a moment, after doing a task or studying all day, I feel tired and exhausted. However, having fun with the ball, like kicking it against the wall or trying to do some tricks, all my fatigue and exhaustion disappear. In addition, Football is not only about passing and kicking the ball, it also requires a lot of reflection and some basic skills. So I often practice it, and obviously, I feel healthy and strong. Besides that, football also taught me the spirit of teamwork and created a strong sporting capacity in me. However, I do not only like to play football but I also enjoy watching football games on television. Football is very popular all over the world today. Especially, in the World Cup season, I am very excited to see the games in which many famous teams like Brazil, Germany, England, Spain, Holland, etc. And my favorite team is Italy. I am very happy when Italy wins, but I will get angry and I will not sleep well that night if they lose.

So why is football such a fantastic hobby for everyone? Firstly, it doesn’t require a lot of equipment to play football, you just have to have a soccer ball to kick around and some friends, and some kind of goal you can use to kick the ball. The guidelines are very simple and obvious: you kick the ball and you also try to kick it in another. The goal of the team is to score, as well as you cannot touch the ball with your hands of yours.

Moreover, kicking a soccer ball is something that can be addictive and you can spend hours and hours doing it without getting bored. You are able to do a series of tricks with your how-to dribble or even see how many times you can kick the soccer ball without allowing it to hit the ground. You can practice tricks like the bike where you jump and pat it on its side, or maybe pat it in the air as you fall on your back. You can achieve that trick where you roll the ball with one foot on the back of your other leg and then use that other leg to kick it forward, from behind, over your head; that is one of my favorites. It makes people believe that I am an excellent football player when I leave that. One happens, although I do not.

A big factor about football as a hobby is that it certainly keeps you in form with what you have to do to run, plus you have to be in very good condition to succeed in football. Playing football is not like a light trot where you can simply go easy all the time. You are in a complete sprint, dead repeatedly. It’s also fun, so it does not feel like you. You’re just exercising, you’re playing a game instead. The last football team I played in was a Futsal team. I thought I was in shape, but then I could only survive for a few minutes before going to take a breath, every time he entered.

An example of my first memory of playing football is when I was little, playing on a league football team as a kid. I played defense and all I did was hit the ball hard. I was playing defense and all I did was kick the ball so hard. How could I reach the other end of the field each time I arrived? I always remember, afterward, I ate a piece of chocolate milk confection with the wrap still in it. I did not swallow, but it made me sick and I needed to stop dribbling my ball on the way away from the football game while I was throwing up since the feeling in my mouth was so disgusting. I think my body has also worked on the sprint in the soccer game and my stomach was tight. I can still get sick by considering that feeling all these years in the world’s future. However, I had fun as a child playing on my football team and I had a great many great experiences. I also have many good memories of my football days as a child. It was fun to be the center of attention since I kicked the ball whenever I got involved. However, it was not so good, and I played defensively, so normally I only provided the ball with a good boot in the other aspect of the area when I was worried.

You will find a lot of exercises you can do with soccer balls, just yourself to become an even better football player. You are able to simply perform the drip, as mentioned up, where you just kicked the ball back and forth between your thighs and legs as you run. As soon as you’re good at dribbling the ball, you can brag if participate in the games, but dribble the ball and also cut off the past individuals. Or maybe you can kick and point the ball to a specific point on a wall, practice kicking it toward the goal, or even pass with the side of your foot, which means that you can improve your goal and score more goals each time you participate. You can dribble the ball with your feet as you pass through cones. You can practice directing the ball and aiming with your head. Whatever the reason why the football player prefers to undertake is to hit the ball with his head.

Through constant practice, I have improved my football skills. Now I can dribble, conduct, hit, and fool. Just yesterday, I did a hat trick when I was playing a game with my friends. He was as proud as a peacock.

My dad and I are enthusiastic supporters of the Manchester United Football Club, which recently won three gold trophies. I never miss one of their games. We are the proud owners of many football magazines and posters representing great players like David Beckham, Mickael Silvestre, and Andy Cole, to name but three. My favorite outfit is a MUFC outfit.

Football is a very special game because it is the only game invented by humans where you can only use your legs, with the exception of the goalkeeper. Football strengthens muscles, strength, and strength. I am happy that at one time football became my hobby.

The Role Of Self-reflection In Learning And Development

Self-evaluation is a necessary part of learning and development for any individual. When I look at my own career path and self-reflection, I consider how I would assess myself. I asked myself what my strengths and weaknesses are. By doing this I can identify what I need to work on and improve but also what I can showcase and enhance. In this case I am very organised, but I could work smarter and also delegate more. Therefore, I need to consider ways to work smarter, using partner companies to work with and delegating more to team members as not only will this help me but will help them too.

I would consider what my skill set is and are there any gaps within my skills that the business can support and would enhance both me and the business. On reflection I identified that there is a need to enhance my export knowledge and I have identified a training course that will do this.

Next, I would ask myself what problems I am facing, either in work or home that may be impacting on my performance or be causing a distraction. By facing up to the problem you can face it head on and work to resolve or ask for help if needed.

I would also look at what I have achieved recently and consider the achievements as wins. It is important to recognise the good as well as the bad in order to further your own development.

Finally, I would look at if I can provide the solutions to any of the issues I have or do I need to discuss with my team or line manager.

By self-reflecting you are able to develop your own skills in a more in-depth way. You are able to recognise your strengths and weaknesses, improve them or utilise in a way that is more beneficial. Once your team has done their own reflection you can consider everyone’s strengths and weaknesses, using them to the best use of the team. Those that are good at organising can work with those that are untidy or cluttered. Working together you can make each other better and more productive.

The personal development that can come from self-reflection and self-awareness can be critical in enhancing and improving the individual’s development. You should not be concerned about finding negatives about yourself, only understanding that by identifying weakness or problems you are being proactive in finding ways to improve and be better for your team.

Introducing Yourself: Narrative Essay

My name is Sergeant Michael Asher and I am a recruiter out of Greenville, South Carolina. I have one assigned high school in my area of operation (AO) which is Eastside High School. The purpose of this paper is to discuss my demographics, school programs, my recruiting and sustainment plan, and how I plan to utilize the recruiter zone in my assigned area.

Demographics

Greenville, South Carolina is ranked as one of the best cities to live in the United States. Greenville has a flourishing job market, and a great education system and is in a beautiful location tucked between the Appalachian Mountains and just hours away from the beach. My zip code specifically is not the best part of Greenville, but I do have the biggest Zip code in Greenville with lots of shopping centers, schools, and apartments. I am eager and excited to start my recruiting career and change people’s lives. Greenville’s total population is 64,061 people. My zip code’s total population is 32,496 people. Greenville’s average household income is $48,984. The average Household income in my area is $45,500. Zipcode.org stated, “The population has a much higher percentage of people with low education levels (less than high school) than normal. Despite the lower high school graduation rates, the area has some of the highest percentages of people who attended the college of any zip code.” 15,114 people or 52 percent of my population only have a High School diploma. 2,790 or 10 percent of my population have an associate’s degree. 4,948 or 17 percent of my population have a Bachelor’s degree. 1,736 or 6 percent have a master’s degree. 616 people or 2 percent have a Doctorate degree. Lastly, 13 percent of my population does not even have a High School diploma. That information shows me that there is a big gap in people going to college. If only 52 percent of my total population has a High School diploma that means that there is a need for college money, especially with the average household income only being $45,500. If someone does not want to pursue a college degree, the median income is still low enough that people would benefit from the extra money that the South Carolina Army National Guard (SCARNG) offers. Also, the fact that someone could save money going to college, utilizing our education incentives, and our Health Insurance.

Eastside is a public High School that has a total upper-class (juniors and seniors) size of 679 students. It does not have a JROTC program but does have many sports teams and athletic programs that I plan to use our warrior fit team as a School Entry Vehicle (SEV). Not only do they have an incredibly talented athletic department but they also have a great faculty and staff. This is why I believe the school has such a high success rate and is one of the top schools in the county. Eastside has a high graduation rate, with 93% of students. Greenville has a program called, no child left behind, where no matter what the kid’s situation is they help them to make sure they graduate high school. Students out of Eastside High School seem to do exceptionally well on the ACT and the ASVAB. The average ACT score at Eastside is 21. I could not find any data on the SAT but students out of Eastside are making an average range of a 37 through a 42 on the ASVAB. With a graduation rate of 93% as well as 86% of students going on to college. That is important because it shows that students are going to school which directly coincides with our education benefits. It also helps that it is a low-income area because parents would love to not pay for college out of pocket. It is a win-win situation.

School Programs

It was a pretty easy option to choose Eastside as my school because it is my only school. Presence at my school will be my number one priority when I get home because I can focus all my energy and effort on this school. My plan is pretty simple, work my way from the top down. What does that mean? Introduce myself to the Principal, Vice-principal, and Counselors and befriend them. My thought behind this is if you have the support of the higher-ups, you can be in your school, in classes, and in front of the students as much as you want. I plan on winning them over in multiple ways, first and most importantly, not flooding them asking for permission to be in classes and setting up lunchroom displays immediately before they even know who I am. I want to take my time introducing myself properly, explaining what the South Carolina Army National Guard (SCARNG) is and how not only the students can benefit from it but the school can as well. Feeding the faculty, and desktop calendars and simply introducing myself to them is how I plan to do this. I already have my team at home setting up a school feed for next week before school starts. They are covering for me while I am here and even though I cannot be there to introduce myself, they are introducing the SCARNG and building the trust that comes along with our organization. The Recruiter who previously had Eastside is also introducing me to all the VIPs of the school and handing it off to me slowly. Once I get into the schools and the trust is developed between the staff and myself I have a great plan to get school ownership. I am going to flood the school with marketing material including customized flyers with my face on them, desktop calendars for all the teachers, Yard signs in the student parking lot, and in the perimeter around the school in every direction. Along with that I also plan to utilize our Warrior fit team and our gaming trailer. These are going to my two primary School Entry Vehicles. Eastside High has a huge athletic program and is surprisingly very good in multiple sports, winning state championships in Cross country, football, and wrestling. All of these sports I played in high school myself, and I plan on using that experience to use to help the coaches during practices, games, and the postseason. Our warrior fit team is my favorite school entry vehicle to use and the main one I plan to use to establish a presence in the school. Warrior fit allows me to get in front of the athletes, coaches, and parents and show that I am there for them. I want to be there for them, better their lives, and help them in any way I can. I generally do care about people and my sincerity, people skills, and kind-hearted nature will show once they get a chance to know me. The gaming trailer is something else I will utilize hand in hand with warrior fit. When my school teams are playing games I will bring the gaming trailer to their games to capture attention and get more leads. I have corn-hole boards, a pop-up tent, and a GSA truck that I will use to tailgate at their games. We also have a grill I could utilize to cook food for students to get them to come over and talk to me and my partners. I also will do lunchroom displays twice a week as well as classroom presentations as much as possible. Lead generation with all of these things will be done very simply, I work with a great team where we never go to events without more than two recruiters. This allows one recruiter to talk to students, and build trust and rapport while the other recruiter mans the table and captures all leads on APPLE-MDTs sent to him from the recruiter walking around talking. This will be done in all School entry vehicles and plans listed above.

Recruiting and Sustainment Plan

Having a plan and objectives are what keeps us on task with the mission that we have to make. Having quarterly objectives will help me keep on track as well. I will discuss my plan in accordance with NGR 601-1. During my first quarter, my primary market will be my seniors. They are planning their lives ahead and might not know what SCARNG has to offer. My secondary market will be my high school graduates. They might have gotten to the point where they need financial help or learned that college just is not for them. My tertiary market will be prior service soldiers in the individual ready reserve, these soldiers have already served and might want to continue service. For my second quarter, my primary focus will be my high school juniors. They are now available to serve and are eligible for the split training option. All my effort in high school is going to help me across all my quarters and make a mission. My secondary market is going to be the college where I work at. I have already integrated myself into the staff and built their trust. Especially working in the financial office definitely is a plus. My tertiary market is going to be my prior service again. While they are in the IRR they might have found out they wish to serve again. For quarter three I am going to target my high school seniors again. They are coming up on the summer and might have not made plans yet or came to a realization of how expensive college is going to be. For my secondary market, I am going to continue to target my juniors. My tertiary market again is going to be my prior service members. For my fourth and final quarter, I am going to connect with prior service again. My secondary market is going to be my high school seniors, reconnecting with them as the summer is on offering them a part-time job over the summer and the school year is going to be a big benefit. My tertiary market is going to be my high school graduates. Reconnecting with them, especially the ones who decided to not go to college. Along with my recruiting plan, I will also elaborate on my plan for sustainment plan for maintaining my contacts year-round. I never throw away leads because as leads get older if they were too young at one point they then meet the eligibility requirements. I also maintain what I call “the semester contact plan” which is where you contact leads when semesters end because situations arise and things come up where they might need the SCARNG when they thought they did not before. For example, someone could have thought they were going to get a bunch of scholarships for school and they might have had a bad semester and lost their scholarships. When I reach out to them and tell them how I can help them pay for school they would be more open to having a conversation with me. Along with that, maintaining contact with my COIs, VIPs and the faculty of my schools year-round will help me when utilizing this plan. Having an open line of communication with my school is going to be what I do best. Keeping a constant engagement with my schools year-round will be a major asset when recruiting and working to make a mission, even in the summers because It shows that I care year-round and not just during the school year and just about the students. I am there for the faculty and staff as well.

Recruiter Zone

The organization is one of the main factors a recruiter needs to implement into his daily life and routine. The great thing about the recruiter zone and school zone is they do all the organization for you. Recruiter Zone (RZ) and school zone (SZ) are both extremely important for a multitude of reasons and both systems complement each other. If used properly they can be a force multiplier for my recruiting efforts. SZ allows me to keep track of events, Centers of influence (COIs), Very important people (VIPs) school faculty, and enlistments that have been made throughout the school year and allow me to keep track of events and all the data that was made throughout the event. RZ is the system in which you track the leads from the School zone, you cannot use one of these systems without the other. RZ also allows me to keep track of my analytical data like my contact-to-contract ratio. When utilizing RZ, it gives you an honest explanation of your funnel, and where your funnel drops off, which can show you areas you need to improve on, and how many people you need to talk to get an enlistment. That is important because it gives you a general idea of the amount of effort, planning, and contacts that need to be made. I plan on utilizing RZ and SZ by inputting data as I receive it. I know that sounds simple but it is really going to be that simple for me. Staying organized and inputting the information as I receive it will help mitigate later problems along with finding the numbers that I need to meet to get an enlistment.

Conclusion

In summary, we covered my demographics, school programs, my recruiting and sustainment plan, and how I plan to utilize the recruiter zone in my assigned area. I strongly believe that “failure to plan is planning to fail.” Without a plan or guideline in place, you do not have a path to follow in recruiting. Having a plan gives you a realistic expectation of what to expect, and how you plan to make the mission and keeps you organized. That is why it is so important to have a yearly recruiting plan.

Honesty Is the Best Policy: Personal Narrative Essay

First of all, the peers in this story will be kept anonymous for privacy reasons. So, I learned that honesty is the best policy, and here is how an incident in 7th grade and almost going to trial got me to learn that honesty can get you out of bad situations.

It was 2nd period, me and my buddies, as we will call them, were in music. I did not expect anything of this to happen until suddenly one of my peers was offering pills. I thought it would be smart to take one of the pills from ‘him’ confiscate it and turn it in to the front desk. Now I go to the school resource officer about five minutes later. Fast forward to 4th period. I was in math class when I got called down to the office. When I was in the detention room, the principal said that the pill was not in the greatest condition. He showed me the pill, and sure enough, holding the pill for five minutes definitely makes your hands sweat. That is exactly how I responded. So, I was in the detention room for the rest of the day.

Now it is the weekend from that day. I distinctly remember being outside and then getting called in. Apparently, the police called and said to come to the station. I was questioned and sworn in, you know what police usually do, but I was so nervous that I wanted to lie, but I could not do it. I never went to court. And that is when I realized, to tell the truth, even though I wanted to lie, but I did not, because, firstly, there was nothing I could think of, and secondly, all of them could find out, and if I did, I would have gone to jail for misleading the investigation.

If you take anything from this essay, take away that it is not good to lie because, in the end, nothing good will come out of it, and if you do not lie, then you are more likely to not get in trouble or get scolded. But at the end of the day, there are things in life that you may not like, but that is no reason to lie. If you wish, you can, but do not expect anything good from the result. So, just tell the truth, when you lie you mislead, and that’s why people get angry.
