The cultural approach in the reality of the contemporary world cannot but disappoint an ordinary individual due to the threats which some cultural peculiarities represent toward the environment. In this respect bottled water became the source for discussion. This particular branch of the industrial growth in countries throughout the world represents also the source for the environmental pollution. The purpose of the proposal is to examine and identify the real situation of bottle water production in contrast to the environment. The objectives for the research prop up against the real evaluation of cultural aspects in purchasing and using bottled water before, during, and afterwards.

Proposed Title

Global approach as of drinking bottled water cultivated in people lacks of environmental awareness.

Scope of Project Goals/Objectives

The industry cannot be stopped today because of the great awareness of people about drinking only bottled water for them not to be ill. However, people do not control their actions afterwards when utilizing the bottles while throwing them into the litter box. Thus, the purpose of the project considers the rational approach toward the appropriate utilization of bottles after the use of water. Moreover, the estimation of current situation about this hazard for the environment is also taken into account. It is so due to the actions of people in the way of cultural approach in utilizing the materials with which a bottle was done. The major among them are plastic and glass. The example of Coca-Cola Company is highlighted in the proposal. The question under analysis is whether the situation has the probable methods for solutions or not? In this respect the economical and social issues are touched upon in the research, because such giants in the market as Coca-Cola and Pepsi terrify with the scopes of their production throughout the world.

Background/Rationale/Literature Review

The literature review presupposes direct relation to the problem for the last ten years. The objectivity and reasonable character of the literature used gives detailed information about bottled water production and environmental problems. Nevertheless, the market of soft drinks is increasing every year twofold and provides more hazards for the environment due to this (Bouguerra, 2006). Coca-Colas perspectives for the increase of production line are due the next 5 years (Burman, 2007). The author argues the allegedly positive plan of actions inside the Coca-Cola Company and provides personal evaluation on the example of contemporary situation. Hence, economic, cultural, and social forces are allocated due to the industry of bottling water (Keegan & Schlegelmilch, 2001). According to McKinney et al (2007) the dramatic increase of population caused the dramatic danger for the environment. In reality this assertion emphasizes suchlike menace in food and consumer wastes and their recycling being stopped at the point of dump. In this respect Coca-Cola Company and other producers of bottled water try to persuade in the so-called friendly evaluation of bottle materials for the environment. Bottles are made with light and convenient for further recycling materials (Jandt, 2009).

Expected Results

Due to the proposal I expect to work out my personal position as of rational use of water and utilization of bottles afterwards. The research showed the danger for the environment. Thus, the urge of it is to share the knowledge about the way people should respect the nature and its wealth being aware of dangers which they can yield.
