Joseph is one of the most striking examples of a natural managing leader, as he has several essential qualities. Although he is one of the Biblical examples, he still demonstrates the qualities that Steward Leaders should possess, and he is an example for many. God sent him many different trials, but Joseph passed each of them with dignity and therefore was rewarded with God’s mercy and favor.

Joseph became an example of honesty, caring for others, and a person who has values that, in addition to the qualities of a good leader, are also the basis of the biblical covenants. Undoubtedly, it was the experience and complexity sent down by God that helped Joseph in his formation, but in addition, because he was purposeful, compassionate, and could earn the trust of anyone, even the most senior person, he earned God’s trust. That is, Joseph is an excellent example of a managing leader because he has many of the traits necessary to be an influential managing leader.

Genesis 39 demonstrates the situation in which Joseph was taken to Egypt, where he was bought by Pharaoh’s official Potiphar. Because Joseph was gifted with the favor of God, he became a servant of Potiphar, and the owner began to leave the household in the care of his servant (Genesis 39-41). Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce Joseph, but he was adamant, for which the woman got angry and accused him of harassment. Subsequently, Joseph was thrown into prison, but since he was innocent, God again granted him his mercy, and Joseph became a prisoner in charge of the prison (Genesis 39-41). This story is a vivid example of Joseph being honest rewarded with God’s favor and gifted with success.

In conclusion, having gone through all the difficulties, using his personal qualities, as well as being a favorite of God, he was able to get out of injustice and achieve victory over ill-wishers.
