The educational process includes many aspects that must be carried out and considered by students. One of these critical points is evaluating people’s performance and providing feedback on the processes and tasks that took place during the course. I believe that conducting a self-assessment is a critical step for cultivating self-awareness and understanding of one’s strengths and weaknesses (Chung et al. 1886). Hence, at the end of the course, I had a reflection on these two indicators.

Based on the results of my self-assessment, I can say that the part that I did well in this course was participation and putting effort and effort into writing each assignment. I can say that it helped me gain an understanding of how crucial permanent work is and how it positively affects the level of involvement in the process. The unsatisfactory side that I would like to improve is the correct use of quotes. Despite doing a lot of written work, I still periodically have difficulty determining the correct way of quoting and formatting citations in my academic papers. This disappoints me, but I have already taken some actions to solve this problem.

The part that I like best about the course is how fast it was. Consequently, the training took only six weeks; however, I cannot say that it turned out to be useless for me. Despite its brevity, the course provided a large amount of helpful information, along with quite complex tasks that took time to complete. Undoubtedly, I believe that thanks to this course and the number of papers that were written within it, my writing skill has improved. Thus, I believe that my level of punctuation and quoting of information that I took from various sources has increased. Moreover, I noted that now I can notice errors in my writing much more often and faster than I may not have caught before.

Peer assessment was one of the critical parts of this course, and during it, I gained an understanding of the aspects that I like in this process and do not like. Hence, I believe that reviews from other students helped me improve my editing skills. This aspect is valuable since often, at the initial stage of checking scientific work, some errors may not be noticed. At the same time, I felt a sense of dislike toward peer assessments since, in some cases, I had to give feedback even if I did not have any. In such cases, it was difficult to find words and isolate those aspects that could be commented on.

While completing peer assessment, I realized that students can always get something out of work, even if people do not see it at first. I realized the significance of this conclusion when I could not fully assess the work of another student and reread the work many times. With each new study of the text, I managed to find some parts that would require analysis and correction. As already mentioned, the main struggle that I had to face was quotations and citing the information and data derived from various sources. Nevertheless, I should mention that I started working hard on this issue and have significantly improved my performance compared to what I had at the beginning of the course.

The things that I liked least about the course were portal errors. This aspect sometimes became a trigger mechanism for me, as I often had to restart the site and lose information. In addition, I was uncomfortable with the fact that the students were not able to make up work. In conclusion, this work provides self-assessment at the end of the course within the framework of the curriculum. Conducting this procedure by each student is essential, as it provides awareness about which areas are strong or weak. Moreover, reflection becomes a tool for better self-understanding and awareness of areas for improvement.
