Gender equality is one of the propaganda in this world that some people face every day.

Gender equality is propaganda in this world because millions of people yearly get put down because of their gender. Gender equality should be more addressed as time goes on, even with little change in inequality in institutions. For gender equality to not be as bad, we could all contribute to putting in the effort to change. Women’s empowerment and Male empowerment in the economy are trying to meet the requirements they want to reach. Giving women more male jobs could improve our equality and boost our economy. If we could try to “ Guarantee the rights of women and giving them opportunities to reach their full potential is critical not only to women attaining Gender Equality but also for meeting a wide range of international development goals,” if we could reach the wide range of international goals it could boost our economy even more than before (Rupeja, N. 2019). Women are known for being safer in the environment with education more than men. The percentage goes up for women as they have more candidates in the education environment. Changes in Gender equality through institutions such as in the workplace and getting an education. Gender equality should be more addressed as time goes on to help boost our economy. In the United States of America, the top 3 worst states are Utah, Idaho, and a third in Texas. Men had more available time at the workplace than women because they didn’t think women could do extracurricular activities as men could. Learning about this problem reveals that gender equality is central to sustainable progress. These are examples of gender inequality existing in the world today. Problems start to arise when “ young adults try to balance work, family, and women end up carrying nearly all the caregiving responsibilities” (Paterson, J. 2018). In that period, men usually are the ones to get an education while the women do the caregiving. Women were known as not knowledgeable so they let all the guys do the work. Back in the day, the government used to say men were superior to women in education. Women have caught up with men in terms of education. In fact, In the United States and several other countries, women now actually surpass men in educational achievement.

Gender equality in the workplace usually empowers men and gives men more power over women. Women would continue to return to work “92% of the men’s pay would go to women but it took another 16 years, and a second strike” to get what they wanted (Leach, A. 2016). Women fought to get as much pay as men for ongoing years. They also held two strikes. The first one was not approved, but the second strike was very successful. It was originally a demand for recognition, for the women who stitched Ford’s car seats to be acknowledged” for what they were (Hinsliff, G. 2018). A regrading exercise had classified the men on the factory floor as skilled workers entitled to higher rates but lumped the women in with janitors as unskilled labor. It was the casual dismissal of what they did that rankled. Women wanted recognition that “they were just as skilled as men, and their work should be taken seriously” It was never about the money (Leach, A. 2016). Equal pay was not even close women got paid way less. Males were “stronger” so the males always got more leverage. Men thought women didn’t take their work as seriously as men could. Women had to prove that they were just as skilled for the same job that men had.

Gender equality is one of the biggest struggles men and women both have to go through daily. However, innumerable changes are yet to be made in educational institutions “which should be addressed gradually to achieve gender equality” (Rupeja, N. 2019). Changes in gender equality through institutions could make a change in our world. Gender equality should be more addressed as time goes on. There is evidence of widespread prejudice against women and girls from decades of psychological research. For instance “an experiment was conducted in which participants watched an entrepreneurial pitch video of images relating to a new venture” narrated by the voice of the entrepreneur (Alba, B. 2019). Participants were randomly assigned to a group in which either a male or female voice narrated the pitch, which was otherwise identical. When a male voice pitched the venture, 68% of participants thought it was worthy of funding, compared to only 32% when pitched by a female voice. In India where the gender ratio in most families, institutions, and organizations is unequal, “the admittance of more than 50% women in such a reputed institution” shows that we are heading towards process (Rupeja, N. 2019). Women in India are known as “stay-at-home wives.” Women are 50% in India not learning a single thing. Our world should give more women and most men more opportunities to prove they can both achieve the same. A good start for women could be making women feel more relaxed and having a safe learning environment.

Empowered women and girls “contribute to the health and productivity of their families, communities, and countries, creating a ripple effect” that benefits everyone (Global Issues. n.d.).Women would have less health than just staying at home and doing nothing. Women would also be able to react more than having it affect them more periodically.

More women than men enter the white-collar workforce (53 women for every 47 males), yet as they move up, men are promoted to leadership roles at a far greater rate, with men in top executive roles outnumbering women four to one. The problem isn’t just the disparity, it’s also those male leaders’ perception of the issue.

Gender equality matters because it happens to nearly everyone worldwide and that could be fixed. Gender equality applies to both men and women. Considering the significance of gender equality in high schools could also put a dent in trying to achieve it. With good research, it could help lead us into what we are looking for to help and put a stop to it. World wide people, schools, and parents should address that gender equality is a real problem in a world that is slowly making a change. Calling a high school student to participate in trying to achieve gender equality could lead to making everyone happier and wanting to be able to go to school more.
