As such, this week’s post is focused on Jim Crow and how key it was to racial formation in the U.S., how the remnants can still be felt today in our systems of power (federal and state laws, prison, education, finance, real estate) by people of color, and how despite all of this, there was a significant amount of resistance shown by the Black/African American Community.
