After reading the case KiKos and the South Korean Won on p. 205-208 in your text

After reading the case KiKos and the South Korean Won on p. 205-208 in your textbook, write a 6-8-page essay (not including the cover page and reference page).
You are to write an essay. Do not use question and answer format. Do not use bulleted points. Again, you are to write an essay.
Address the following items and questions:
Identify the stakeholders who were affected in the case.
What were the expectations—and the fears—of the South Korean exporting firms that purchased the KiKos?
What is the responsibility of a bank that is offering and promoting these derivative products to its customers? Does it have some duty to protect their interests? Who do you think was at fault in this case? Why?
Did the government have an obligation to step in and intervene in the actions of the exporters and the banks? If so, why? If not, why not? What actions could the government of South Korea take?
Think back to what you learned about the balance of payments in Chapter 3. After reading the case, how do you think the balance of trade was affected in South Korea?
If you were a consultant advising firms on their use of foreign currency derivative products, what lessons would you draw from this case, and how would you communicate that to your client?
Your essay should: (a) introduce the problem being explored; (b) offer an arguable thesis statement; (c) provide context/background of the problem; (d) discuss ethical considerations from the perspectives of exporters, banks, and government regulators; (e) discuss economic effects; and (f) issue two evidence-supported recommendations aiming to solve the problem.
Be sure to support your claims and assertions using citations from the case study and other credible resources. Your paper must have at least 6 peer-reviewed references and be properly APA formatted. You must cite/reference all sources! Finally, you may review the following resources for this assignment:
