Hi the goal of this assignment is to build a set of circuits for a 4 degree of freedom robotic arm. This robot is built using 4 servo motors with 3 Servo Triggers (Continuous Rotation – SparkFun WIG-13872). The design of this robotic arm will include up/down motion, left/right rotation, front/back head bend, and open/close clamp by eyebrow frown. Please build it virtually using the attached breadboard image. Include and label all jumper wires (color coded lines), amplifiers, capacitors, and resistors and all their calculations. Please also provide all calculations required when building the circuits for this robotic arms. Ensure that all of the circuits are in connectivity and they are work well with each other. We will be using a DAQ assistant to connect it to the breadboard and to run it through LabView for testing. Please also provide explanation for clarity on whats is added on the breadboard and on the calculations.
So a spirometer circuit will be used where blowing into the venturi device to indicate an up/down direction. This is to be build using differential amplifier (AD620), capacitors, and resistors. Indicate and label what they are on the breadboard. Then an EMG device circuit will be used where a participant will frown to indicate closing and opening the robot’s arm clamp (that holds an object). This is to be build using AD620 instrument amplifier, classic LM741 operation amplifier, capacitors, and resistors. Indicate and label what they are on the breadboard. Then a motion detection circuit will be used where the participant will tilt the head left/ right to indicate left/right rotation and bend the bead down/back to indicate a front/back direction/movement (to moving the robot arm). This circuit is to be build using an accelerometer, capacitors (to filter noise) and resistors (if it’s needed). Indicate and label what they are on the breadboard, since this will be placed on the participants head. Below is also an example of how to draw the circuits on the breadboard image.
Please ensure to provide all calculations with explanations to make this robotic arm function correctly. Calculate the gain, capacitor and resistor values. Also, provide the circuit schematics for all circuits with the labeled values such as the schematic example below.
