In the Areas of Development in which you would like to improve, define your perceived limitations in the areas of leadership, communication, and technology (2-3 areas of development in each category). You must start every section in an opening paragraph (i.e., leadership, communication, technology) by introducing your possible audience to your 2 to 3 areas that need development. Explain why you consider each a limitation and why you think it will be valuable to improve these areas. Follow the same directions as the Areas of Excellence. You are to prepare a doctoral-level paper, at least eight full pages of content, plus a title page, and a references page. Since this assignment is written from your perspective, you will write in the first person; there are at least 12 scholarly references (last 5 to 7 years) required to validate your responses. No generative artificial intelligence can be used as sources for assignments. No secondary sources can be used for assignments. No direct quotes can be used for assignments. No books or trade journals can be used, only current scholarly journals (past 5 to 7 years) that are labelled academic, peer-reviewed, or refereed journals. All references must align with in-text citations and be complete with all information (i.e., authors, date, title, source) to include the DOI or the URL. The exact URL/DOI must be included to retrieve the actual source. By not including the direct URL/DOI, the source will not count towards total sources used. This will help faculty retrieve the source to determine if the source meets the requirements of the submission. Your 12 current scholarly sources can be repeated throughout this assignment to synthesize your content. For “every” section, three current scholarly sources are required to synthesize and validate your claims. In addition, you will complete and analyze your nine researched/selected surveys, which will be part of your narrative (see the directions in Survey Analyses Section). Do not utilize only one source per paragraph, as you must synthesize your content, meaning that your paragraphs need two or more sources to synthesize the content and validate your claims. In addition, all paragraphs must have five to six academic sentences. Refer to your faculty member’s expectations. Survey Analyses Section Please conduct research in order to select, complete, and analyze at least nine surveys in these three areas to assist you in your writings. You must select three surveys in leadership, three surveys in communication, and three surveys in technology. Your faculty will upload many surveys in the Modules link on your Canvas page. You will pick one of the available surveys for each category (one survey in leadership, one survey in communication, and one survey in communication). However, as a researcher, you must conduct your own research regarding the remaining two surveys for each category, as you need a total of three surveys for each category. That stated, you will still need to find a total of 6 surveys on your own (two in leadership, two in communication, and two in technology). There is no limit on the publication date of surveys; however, all surveys must be cited and aligned with the references. Please refer to the APA manual for format of citations.
